We had a wonderful time at Apartment Linda. The apartment is in an idyllic location. It was very clean and comfortable. Linda and her family made us feel welcome. Be sure to make a reservation at their restaurant. We had one of the best dinners of our lives. I would definitely stay again.

The apartment is spacious and everything was nice and clean. We enjoyed the balcony with the view over the harbour. The owners are very friendly and open to chat and give suggestions about what to visit around the island. We had dinner at their restaurant downstairs twice and it was lovely. They also have two very cute cats! All in all it was a great experience, absolutely recommended.

We had the most wonderful stay in Linda's apartments. The food in Konoba Ankora ranks as one of the best we had in our trip. Apartment had everything one can possible wish including the best breakfast view ever. Thank you to Linda and family for making us feel so welcome. Wishing to return soon.

First of all Polače is the best location to stay in Mljet. Quiet, relaxed village in a beatiful and calm bay in Mljet national park. Village has all needed services and national park lake area is accessible by bikes from the village. Linda's appartment locates in the middle of the village just in front of the ferry pier so the location is perfect: everything is super close. Apartment has balcony with amazing view to the bay: best place to eat breakfast and chill out in the evening drinking local wine. Apartment had all we needed: air conditioner (which is located in kitchen, which is good because it air cons the whole apartment, but does not make bedroom too cold), fridge, kitchen tools, double bed etc. Apartment was also super clean. Host Linda and her husband are both very kind and helpful. They organised us a taxi from Pomena when we arrived, surprised us with some welcome gifts (to celebrated our honeymoon) and they also let us to borrow their kayak for free. All in all lovely place that we will visit again for sure. Thanks for everything!

Not the property, but some of the yachts were blasting loud, crap music late into the evening. It is very expensive in the area and very few good restaurants to eat at unless you’re prepared to pay very high prices. It’s mostly all fish too, so you better be into that. There is only one small supermarket with basic supplies. I found the eating element quite frustrating.

Clean, pleasant and comfortable. overlooking the water, quiet except for yachts coming in and out. area seems largely unspoilt by tourism. it sits right on the edge of a lovely national park with beautiful lakes to swim in

Great location and such a warm welcome from the owner! We stayed two nights in Polace. The room is very big with a separate kitchen and a great view balcony. The landlord/lady were very welcoming and lovely! We could rent a bike (a good one). It's a brilliant place, and we hope to come back again!

As always in hot countries you have to rely on aircon at night to keep cool and this can be noisy but it was absolutely fine for us and didn't affect our stay

Beds were pretty comfy. Great location and great view from balcony window - perfect for breakfast and coffee on the balcony overlooking the sea. Really friendly family of hosts who were on hand to respond to all our queries and who lived next door so easy to contact. They fixed the shower immediately when we mentioned it wasn't working 100% and they did it without suggesting it was a problem. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. We hired bikes from them too and they helped find us ones the right size. We used the kitchenette to make a dinner one night as well as making picnic lunches and while it was small and basic it was perfectly adequate. The island and village (Polace) was a great break from the busy city and towns and had a chilled calm way of life surrounded by beautiful nature.

Linda and her daughter Marcella were really kind and helpful. Linda waited for my arrival. Marcella helped organized everything that I asked of her and very responsive. Since I went in Spring, there weren't many restaurants open and Linda offered to make me a dinner. It was good..fish was from her husband's fishing and vegetable from their own garden, so truly organic. Thank you so much.

A great little apartment in the great little place Polače on the the island of Mljet. Very close to the shops, restaurants and the ticket office of the national park. Owner was very welcoming and kind. She greeted us when we arrived with the ferry in Polače, and her daughter arranged a taxi to the ferry port in Pomena on our last day. We even got a taste of their homemade rakija. Thank you Linda and Marcela!

Linda met us off the ferry and showed us into our apartment (even though we arrived before check-in time). She was so lovely and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. The apartment was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We used the local bakery and shop whilst we were there, so we could make our own dinners some nights and also lunch to take with us on our hikes. The location was perfect, and provided us with a great base to explore Mljet, whist hiking and cycling the National Park. Highly recommend the walk up to Montokuc - the view was beautiful! We also highly recommend their restaurant below, Konoba Ankora. It was the best meal we had in Croatia! The grilled fish and vegetables were so tasty, cooked to perfection, and the chocolate cake dessert was incredible - we wish we had had all our meals there! *TIP: We mostly bought bottled water as we always like to be careful as my stomach can be sensitive, but the tap water was absolutely fine to drink. I recommend using the tap water where possible, just fill up bottles and pop in the fridge. I hated seeing the amount of plastic we generated from the bottles! I didn't see a separate recycling bin, so just washed and put all my recycling in a separate bag and hoped it could be!

The apartment was clean and well located for visiting the national park, with all amenities covered. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - making us feel at home right away. They were also incredibly helpful in terms of answering our questions, arranging bike hire, assisting with hiring a car and also had a sea kayak for guests to rent - which was great fun! They also run a lovely restaurant downstairs which we would recommend visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would not hesitate to return!
