The sofa bed was very hard to lie on. There was a "sewage " type smell constantly from the bathroom. We should have been offered some discount for this

Very close location for airport and a late flight. Helpful staff at breakfast. Varied breakfast menu

Hotel was 4km from the nearest supermarket so if you don't have a car, you'll have to get a taxi to go anywhere. Restaurant was closed as there were only a few guests. This was in July 2017 (you'd think this was peak time). Reception were nice but pretty useless. Reception was barely staffed so difficult to get assistance.

Nice hotel for the money. Clean, very quiet so easy access to the (fairly small) pool.

First impression when you enter at lobby are 20 flies flying around the light. Then next morning breakfast, if U could call that breakfast. Only thing that is eatable there where like marmelade, butter... Location is in middle of nowhere. Wherever you want to go you need to use a vehicle. Avoid at all costs...

Breakfast was poor. Groceries seemed like they were not fresh enough, so I took only coffee and had a little bread with butter.

Staff was nice and friendly. Good location, 10 minutes by car to downtown, very peaceful for those who want to take a rest.

Sorry but the beds are awful. It was a nightmare to sleep on them.

The breakfast was great, not a huge variaty but for that price is more than okay and delicious! I recommend to add this optiom when you book the room. You must have a car if you stay here because its far from city center (7.6km) but its not a problem because the parking in Pula is very cheap even in a private parking lot. The staff is helpful even if not everyone speaks english. The pool is great too.

A fridge would be useful in the room. Tea and coffee making facility would be welcome throughout the day. Need cushions for sunbeds and more parasols.

Friendly staff. Very helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Always on hand to help. Frequent changes of bedding and towels (although towels were a little rough) Peaceful location. A short taxi ride to the beautiful town. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Good base to visit other towns, villages. Looking forward to returning.

Unfortunately not much to like about this hotel and the pictures presenting the hotel is not telling the truth. The whole hotel just seems really messy, with trinkets all over the place. No furniture on the terrace and no place to hang wet towels an swimwear. Sweatty yellow cheese with mold for breakfast. It seemed like the straff had to work very hard to be a little friendly.

Clean towels every day, wich is not really a plus anyway because it is not neceserry.

This hotel is not a city centre hotel; if you want to go into the centre of Pula then it is a 40 minute walk or 10 minute car drive (there is adequate parking in Pula). We understood this when booking the hotel.

We were treated very well at Hotel Aurora. My daughter has allergies to gluten, fish and egg, and for every breakfast she was given gluten-free bread and foods she could enjoy. Vlatko and his team are extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a wonderful time, using the hotel as a base for excursions to Rovinj, Porec and Split. We also relaxed in the pool and the glorious peace of the hotel.

Lots of mosquitoes as it just rained... Windows and doors all left open in the hotel, didn't suit those of us who the mozzies love to bite!

Wonderfully helpful staff who were happy to fix up a meal for us after we arrived late. Beautiful pizza, wine and salad. They also ordered a taxi to the airport for us which was 90HRK.

Wifi didn't work in rooms or communal areas - only available in small area on first floor. Suits those with own transport as taxis were expensive (10-15 euro) & not available at busy times leading to concern over missing transport connections. Couldn't work the old TV as had 2 sockets for 3 plugs & no instructions on how to use the digital box.

The pool was a relief on the hot days. The staff persevered to book us a taxi despite difficulties. The rooms were basic, quiet & clean and AC effective.
