Rooms are located in a residential house - it's not well signposted. On arrival we couldn't find it and end up driving round and then had to wait for a young man to arrive with keys. He was friendly and luckily warned us about the street parking rules as the tow truck visited in the morning and took the next car away which was worrying. There's no dedicated parking and the narrow streets are lined with vehicles half on the walkway. The most annoying feature was the insistence that the doors must be locked at all times - including the garden gate, the shared front door and our room each with its own key that looks the same. There was only one set of keys meaning you could end up locked inside. Another guest knocked on our door because she couldn't get out. A deadlocked door is very dangerous in the event of a fire - the main escape is locked with no emergency release. Is it legal in Croatia - definitely not at home.

Pleasant setting in a quiet well-cared-for garden with a small pool (5mx5m approx) and a few sun loungers. The staff/owner was welcoming. Room was simple but comfortable and clean. It is well-located with some local restaurants and beach within 5 minutes walk. The Roman centre of Split is a 15- 20 minutes walk for an able-bodied person.

Small pool area with only 3 sun beds , rude woman who seemed to inhabit the hotel and shouted about me using a sun bed This was not clear on the advertising of the hotel, deceptive photos of pool area Mean with products, shower gel not fully replaced or tea, no shampoo or body lotion apparently we could ask for it but expect automatic replacement for a hotel at this price! Especially when not taking hold luggage and unable to pack products!

The property was in a quiet location, a five minute walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk in to the old town. The room was large and clean and the small pool was perfect for a quick cool off. Ivana was exceptionally helpful and responded to what’s app messages immediately. There are a few restaurants near by and loads in the town, we were very much spoilt for choice

You are actually renting a room and bath. There was no daily room service. During a 7 night stay sheets,towels and bin were dealt with only half way thru stay. We should have been informed. We had to ask after 3 days for more toilet paper and for someone to empty the bins and change some of our towels. I saw one guest going to the market to purchase more toilet paper. As you are approximately 10 mins from a cafe for a morning coffee it would have been convenient to have a Nespresso machine. Last suggestion, as there is a beautiful pool with table and chairs in the garden we had no plates or cutlery to even prepare an apero or picnic.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable except pillows a bit lumpy. Location was convenient and quiet. Approximately 15 mins walk to old town. Five minutes to beach. If you need to book a transfer to the airport the owner would put you in touch with a very reliable transfer for €40.

Parking isn’t really private, there are spaces for 2 cars but if full you to park on busy road. Not ideal with a rental car. You need to ensure you say you’re exact arrival time otherwise you will have to wait for someone to arrive to greet you as no self check in. Keys need colour coding to each door

Beautiful building and a lovely room. Room was nice and clean and set up with all the amenities you might need including the bonus of a jacuzzi bath. 20 minute walk to old town but super close to the beach.

Had difficulty finding the property, especially late at night due to it's location being incorrect on Google maps. Also having to carry 3 keys and a big keyring every time I went out was not convenient.

We were met on arrival at agreed time. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful garden and pool. The property was in a great location, convenient to city and to beach with promenade. Parking was easily available on surrounding streets. Response to query was very quick and helpful.

Beautiful room with huge bed , sofa , fridge , good air con , great bathroom. Near the beaches and beach cafes . Interesting walk to town or cheap Uber ride away 7 euros. Host we v helpful as we arrived mid morning and they gave us keys and looked after bags then text when the room was ready .

This didn't affect us, but there are only four sunbeds around the pool - in busier periods this might mean that you're competing for space.

We really liked staying here - it was a lovely property with a great (but small) pool and only 15 minutes away from the centre of Split. We found it perfect for combining a city break with lounging around the pool!

We did request a slightly later check out, only by 2 hours as we had a very late evening flight back. This couldn’t be accommodated for us which was a little disappointing, although we completely understand it’s high season and busy.

Very clean, serviced each day with fresh towels provided. A nice big, bright room with an air conditioning unit. Beautiful garden and pool area. Overall a well maintained property. Good location; a quiet residential area within easy reach of the promenade/old town (about a 20 minute walk) and Bacvice beach (about a 5 minute walk).

It’s more an Airbnb than a hotel but it’s a very good one. There was a lovely coffee shop about 10 minutes walk away (Cookie Lab) for breakfast but it got very busy as there seemed no alternatives. If you wanted a drink in the heat you also had to go off and find a bar although there were some supermarkets in the city centre. The negatives are more just for info as we loved the place and would happily stay again. All the staff were great too.

Lovely clean room. The small shared pool is a nice bonus in the heat. It’s about 15 minutes walk to the Old Town. It’s an easy walk with plenty to see so we enjoyed it but you are staying in a nice residential area rather than the tourist centre. As there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel it does commit you to walking quite a bit or getting taxis as there is nothing much within 10 minutes walk. We were ok exploring but others might prefer more on site. If you do explore then Split is a great place to do it.

Too far out of centre long walk to & from. No literature in room about Split for visitors. Shower very odd protection panel not in front of shower. TV not very good hard to operate
