United StatesI could go on for an hour about how great this property and staff are. I will tell you that you can never go wrong by staying at this property. You will be very pleased you made the choice to spend your time at the Faukensteiner Hotel & Resort Iadera.
My future wife and I are so happy we decided to visit to the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa in Iadera. It was definitely one of our best trips ever if not the best! The property itself has absolutely beautiful landscaping with several pools and multiple dining options with well prepared dishes for all times of the day and evening. The breakfast is an absolute must you not miss it because it is without a doubt one of the best selections of many great breakfast dishes. The entire facility is very well kept and very clean. Every hotel department including the restaurants, front desk, bellman, housekeeping, spa and the management are so friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. We will never forget this trip and when we are in Zadar we will always stay at the Falkensteiner Resort & Spa. You other half will be so pleased with your selection of the property and will probably share this with you daily. This property is an absolute Gem and the entire staff in all departments make it shine like a perfectly cut diamond that your wife or girlfriend will cherish forever. They always say a diamond is a girls best friend and diamonds are forever, well I can assure you the Faukensteiner Resort & Spa will be too. For access to the property’s amazing amenities every price I have seen online is an incredible value. You will be extremely happy you made the choice to stay at this property I promise you! CroatiaHowever there are a few thing they could work on. With services it's always something. Our first time there they gave us two bathrobes in size M, with one of us being a 1,80m man, you can see how that would be a problem. When we tried to call room service, in several occasions, they were overwhelmed with the number of requests, very slow, kept forgeting what we asked. Also we found traces of something that looked like blood on a curtain. This time, the bed in our room was close to broken, mattress had a hole in the middle. My sleep quality was not that great because of it, but since it was just 2 nights I decided not to ask for another room. The next day I locked myself in the bathroom in the spa because doorknob was broken. And the little things - our coffee refill box in the room was empty and messy, coffee machine dirty. So in general - the hotel could use a better maintenance and a better cleaning services.
It's our second time here, so it's obvious we like this hotel. It has a world class spa, one of the best we've ever been, very esthetically pleasing and spacious, with lots of saunas to choose from and exit to the beach. It has a specific ambiance incorporated in the nature around it. The rooms are also very nice and spacious, we like the "boat" feeling they give. Balcony & the bathtub are a plus. In general, the whole hotel is really beautiful. Oh, and, we like the huge new Fortis gym in the complex. The breakfast is really good, lots of options to choose from.

CroatiaNot very clean. I have dust allergy and I sneezed the entire night, barely slept. There are stains on sofa and on the carpets in the room and in the hall. Spa area could be cleaner. They threw midnight spa event and when we got there in the morning it was very dirty. Food is not that great.

CroatiaThe variety of food at breakfast is rather good, but every day, precisely the same selection. The AC in our room didn't work, hence it was too hot and stuffy. The tiles in the spa were slippery, and one needs to stay alert while walking around...
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was always lovely and friendly, exceeding our expectations. The pools are significant, and there were always vacant parking places in the underground garage. Zadar is beautiful, and we will get back soon...

Austria- the mattresses in our first room were pretty bad but after talking to the reception they were able to move us to a different room with newer mattresses which helped a lot - new room was a little dusty in less used areas - beach is rocky so would recommend slippers - not that many restaurants you can reach by foot
- great sea view - amazing breakfast, they even have a juicer to make your own healthy juice in the morning, packaged gluten free bread and muffins which I was very happy about! - friendly staff all around - property looks well taken care of - bathrooms are a part of the bedroom/don’t have doors which looks modern and makes the room feel bigger. but unless you are very comfortable with the person you share the room with this might not be for you - lots of sun loungers on the beach and free beach towels - lots of different areas along the beach where you can hang out - live music most nights we were there

Breakfast was great, as well as the beach and pool areas. The spa here is incredible, and justifies the price tag. Also the gym, particularly the one that's off site, is of a really high standard. All the staff were also lovely and very helpful.

GermanyHousekeeping staff needs a better training for cleaning the rooms, especially for a 5 star hotel. At least water should be for free at dinner time.
I got an upgrade for a junior suite and it was fantastic. I liked the saunas and the private beach. The Hamam experience was also excellent (a bit expensive). The staff at the reception in the SPA center and main reception are very attentive and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great and the choices were endless. I really liked that I could use the facilities for the entire day (SPA, sauna, swimming pool) after I checked out.
