Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lots of stairs going up to our room and a bit tight for a family of 4.
It’s about 2 min walk to the carpark which makes it accessible with luggage. Apartment is cosy, clean and self contained. It is a bit tight for a family of 4. Owner was very kind for not charging us for the 2 extra people.

The pillows were a little lumpy and flat . I like a nice pillow its easier to sleep .
The owner of the apartment very nice and helpful. He has lived in rovinj all his life . The apartment was very newly decorated , modern + everything perfectly spotless. Great location in the old town area . The parking was $15 at a nearby restaurant and the owner picked us up and drove us about 5 minutes to the apartment . Great place with a nice host we would stay again !

A bit expensive for what it is - loud.
The host is super friendly, gave us a lot of suggestions and tips and picked us up at the parking lot. The apartment is cozy, super central and well equipped.

Location was perfect. 2 min from dead centre of town. Accomodation was a good size. Bed was comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us lots of good tips on places to eat and things to do.

The room was super clean and well thought out with a lovely view of the sea and old town. The hosts were amazingly sweet and very accommodating. They even let us know about a storm prior to arrival since they knew we were coming in on the ferry. It was in a perfect location to everything we wanted to explore in the city.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Rovinj. The owners were very kind in helping us park our car in their private lot around 1km out of town, and picking us up in their car to go to the apartments. It's a shame there's no balcony but everything else is excellent, modern, clean and charming

It was a nice room, right in the centre of the town, but in a small quiet street. The host gave us some really good recommendations for some local restaurants and bars, beaches and best spots with the nicest views!

Nothing, everything was fantastic.
The property is perfectly located when arriving by ferry, being only a 4 minute walk away. The hostess greeted us in her generational family home and marked several recommended properties and restaurants for us. she was extremely responsive and made us feel like family. it was a perfect room for us and very well-kept. They stored our luggage for one last walk around town and then offered to take us to our car rental which was very kind. highly recommend!!

We should have stayed longer. Two nights is not enough time in Rovinj.
The decor and amenities were perfect. Exactly what we wanted!! Maja was thoughtful and thorough with the checkin process and I can’t wait to come back and visit with her!
