The pool was closed in early October. I understand why but I was looking forward to dip in after a long drive.

The family host is really nice and keen to have a chat. The place is relatively new, easy to access and quiet, basically embedded in the forest. Can get chilly at night. The restaurant food is delicious, although it can get pricey!

Really close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The room was huge and a great bathroom - the property is only 2 years old and really lovely. Shame the restaurant was closed at this time of year as it has great reviews

The room was exceptional with the woody walls that surrounded us everywhere, the view was breathtaking with the garden and the mountain view. also, the balcony was amazing and spacious. The host Dario was exceptional very kind, friendly, and wonderful. he does the breakfast himself which is exceptional with a dreamy view of the Plitvice destination gardens and farms. I would recommend it to everyone seeking a prime location near Plitvice Lakes.

I can’t love the place any more: fresh air, cozy environment, warm-hearted staff, sufficient space for parking, and fantastic view of the canteen. All the things are better exceeding my expectations. If I could have more time, I would like to live there for days, wandering minds. Highly recommend, especially for those tourists who are planning to Plitvicka Lake.

We stayed at Mrzlin Grad for two nights do that we could visit Plitvicka Jezera. Our accommodation was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s a handy 15 minute drive to the lakes. You must have dinner at the restaurant.

The sensor light in the hall way. I understand most people like it but I don’t and we couldn’t find an off switch.

Warm hospitality, helpful and friendly staff / family run. High end rustic, in keeping with the surroundings. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms large with modern bathrooms. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant with a packaged lunch for the park and it was all great with a passion for local produce which is good to see. Proximity to the lakes was good.

Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t work. We did report this at breakfast but nothing was done. We reported again when we checked out. Breakfast was okay. I don’t think it was worth €12.50, and nothing like the incredible food at dinner time. But overall we thought this was a great little place to stay.

Location and surroundings were exceptional. Perfect to visit Plitvice National Park. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Staff were lovely. Dinner and dessert were exceptional.

We had an incredible stay at House Mrzlin Grad - our favourite place we stayed during our 2 week trip. The facilities were amazing and the room was a great size (especially the bathroom!). However what made the stay so brilliant was the people who run the hotel & La Ursula restaurant (which was also amazing food!) We will definitely be back.

We booked House Mrzlin Grad spontaniously on our road trip through Croatia and we must say it was the best choice we ever made. The propety is in the mountains near Plitvice lakes.Idiyllic scenery and wonderful nature. Cute appartment with modern design and high quality.We had a terrace with view in the pool and mountain. Everything was so cozy. Outstanding during that overnight stay was the restaurant "Bistro Ursula". We had an amazing dinner with home made food but no typical Croatian dishes. The quality and creativity came close to a Michelin Star restaurant. Wow! But one thing that was even more outstanding was the hospitality that we experienced. The owners have been amazing hosts, talented and warm hearted. We felt like home and we want to come back again. For sure. Big thank you to the family! You all do an amazing job! Everything!! Wish i could stay longer but it was fully booked. They have a bistro in the property which makes it convenient. I went on a hike and didn’t realize i missed the breakfast, the owner was so kind to provide me with food outside of breakfast hours during my check out. Truly touched! really appreciate their hospitality. Very friendly as well!! Their dog, Rocky was friendly too!! Guided me on the first 20 minutes of my hike😍 Amazing stay!

This is the best place I've stayed in a while, everything about it was perfect! Great location out in nature and away from the main road, but also near to the national park. Staff were so friendly and great to talk to. Rooms are done to very high standard and clean. The food in the restaurant was tasty and lots of local ingredients. The pool is an added bonus, and Rocky the dog!

A spectacular stay with Dario and his family. The property is beautiful and very relaxing after a day of driving or adventuring in the area. The highlight, of course, is the restaurant which overlooks the valley and is a unique menu of dishes that reflect the local area. That, along with Karlo's wine recommendations and great company made for an incredible stay! We would come back again in a heartbeat.
