Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaDifficult to find. It is just a door with a small sign. The entry instructions should be better. Ie to use RFID for main entry and lift use. We were lucky a tenant was coming out as we were trying all the keys in the main door.
Very central- great location. All amenities worked

CyprusNo safe for valuables although it is mentioned. If one cannot sleep easily then this apartment is not for them. The trams come and go all day and night and the noise is there. Also there is renovation at next building and there is noise from early in the morning.

United KingdomWeekend communication with an agent could be better. Entry magnetic key to the building can work on-off, but the same key works great for a lift.
Great location. Plenty of shops nearby. Public transport within 2 minutes. Views over the main square 'Jelacic'. The property has a working lift.

IrelandUnfortunately I don’t think it was clean enough. The shower could have been cleaner and I don’t think the floor has been cleaned in a while as I dropped something on the floor, picked it up with a tissue which was brown when I turned it over. I don’t think this is a good sign. Also the towels could do with replacing… However it was still a lovely apartment and great location
The location couldn’t have been better. In the middle of the city centre with a tram stop right outside , despite this, we couldn’t hear a thing at night. Very peaceful inside and modern.

United KingdomThere is nothing not to like. To make the accommodation comfortable, I would add two easy chairs and a coffee table. A tea towel for drying stuff and perhaps paper kitchen towels and a proper waste bin. Abd a toaster if possible. Please repair the left window shutter.
Superb location. Excellent views. Simply furnished. Excellent shower and toilet. Very well organised checkin.

UkraineI was upset, because I was booked an apartment for two persons, but I have got a key only for one person. This information was not indicated in the booking specification. This made some difficulties for my residence in this town. I would ask for future that the hosts obligatory specified this information

MaltaAccommodation is so centrally located, that you hear the tram each time it passes by.
Centrally located, with big room, big bathroom, very good bakery at ground floor, view of the main square from the room, very quiet (if you ignore the tram). Self check-in allows for great flexibility!

There are 3 rooms (S1, S3 and S4). I recommend using S3 and S4 becouse they are little more bigger becouse they also have kitchen on them. If you dont want noise, dont take rooms S1 and S4, becouse they are orientated in main square and city trains gives a little noise until 23:00 (but not to much becouse the windows were good when you close them). I think they can little invest in seeping beds, and all interior
Location is near the majn square “Bane Jelacic”. Firstly, the key locker to find the key are simple, and elevator working very well (you need to use plastic key for elevator which is quite simple). We reserved three rooms, which for family was edcellent becouse they all was in same floor and we feel like in hotel rooms. Apartments are old, but it’s normally when you stay in the middle of Zagreb and near the main square of city. If you want to with lot of people (family), there is perfect location and I recommend. We traveled in septembar, and in the bathrooms was hot water.
