We arrived in our own car and were greeted by a friendly person who gave us the keys, explained everything, and provided parking. The room was clean and well-kept. We exchanged phone numbers, and whenever needed, we were given help with certain matters. I recommend this place — it’s not far from the beach and has a very convenient location!

the property is only 150m from the very nice beach, nice swimming pool that was still open after 11pm and was open early morning as well. It could be that the swimming is open all night but not sure about that. very close to the beach restaurants and shops, atm few meters away from the property. car park locked over night. the owner very polite.

kitchen in the open balcony, should be more secure as we keep the food there. and this was on the ground floor next to the busy street. I would recommend to make a windows or something to keep it more secure, if that would be first or second floor no problem.

Good location, very near to beach, walking distance to bakery, grocery store, lot of restaurants near by, spacious free parking place, Active host.

Dormitory/Hostel kind of setup, very basic interior n room setup. It seems location was the prime focus and rest taken for granted. Very small bathroom with shower curtain, which is difficult to manage with kids/Family. Not very suitable for Family(At least for travelers who are on longer vacation) as important equipments are not available e.g. dishwasher, washing mc… I know owner didn’t commit those equipments and he was transparent about his property. But I feel property could have been managed better in terms of, considering the guest comfort n usage of the apartment… e.g. terrace not usable as air condition is right in the terrace… e.g. TV is there with satellite connection but 20 inc TV, mounted on the was, how guest is supposed to watch such a small screen far from the bed as there is no sitting place ……again, owner was transparent but only unique selling point was location.

The location of Apartment Marija is truly great – close to the beach, promenade, and in a lovely part of Makarska.

Unfortunately, it seems that the owners rely solely on this advantage, assuming it’s enough to satisfy guests – and it’s not. The apartment itself needs more care and attention. The furnishings are very basic, the space felt somewhat neglected, and the overall comfort didn’t match the price we paid. For this rate, we expected more – better standards, cleaner and more welcoming interiors, and a bit of effort to make the stay pleasant. What bothered us most, however, was the overall impression that the only thing that really mattered to the owner was the money. It’s a pity – the apartment has a lot of potential, but without some real improvements and a more guest-focused attitude, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Property was very clean and beds comfortable, host was kind and the apartment was very near to the beach although it was uphill. He agreed for check in earlier than noted and provided parking.

We were placed in different apartment not in the one we reserved. And it was in the street level, so we can see everyone and everyone can see us. Also our kitchen was in the balcony and the storage space in the room was non existent almost but fortunately we were there short. In addition the bathroom was very tiny.

We booked a big apartment, so we had really much space. There is a pool and jacuzzi with sunbeds. Location is fine, maybe 200m from beach, but notice that it is uphill. Parking free of charge.

Beds are old and not comfortable. Almost everything inside the apartment is outdated, to start from air conditioning, TVs to showers.

We are very grateful ul for hospitality :) The location is great. Conditions proportional to the price so we are very satisfied:)

This is probably the best apartment in Makarska. We really enjoyed our time there. The location is perfect. A lovely bakery is real close and Tommy market. There is also a small but really nice and clean pool with lots of sunbeds. I will definitely come here again.

The main bedroom was adequate, though the whole apartment is open plan and access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom.

There were no windows in the apartment. The small balcony area was surrounded by walls, so you couldn't even get daylight from there. It was not suitable for a family of four as the second bed was a small sofa bed in the already small kitchen area. The bathroom needs modernising. We stayed one night but had booked two. We couldn't bear to stay another night as no one got any sleep due to the traffic noise. The wall between us and the road kept no noise out. The motorbikes were the worst and a terrifying noise when you are trying to drift off to sleep!

Great little balcony with a Kitchenette. Bakery across the street was a plus.

A little far from the town center. 26 minutes to walk so we drove instead.

Private Parking is incredible and it’s really close to everything. Really enjoyed the location.

Not very sound proof - so can hear the snoring from the next room. But wasn’t a deal breaker
