How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewI absolutely love this hotel — this is already my third stay here, and each time it exceeds my expectations. Food — simply fantastic. Meals are organized as a buffet with a wide variety of dishes: three kinds of meat, fish, side dishes, fresh salads, desserts, and always seasonal fruits. Everything is very tasty and of high quality — there is always plenty to choose from. Staff — extremely polite, attentive, and kind. They do everything to make you feel comfortable and are always ready to help or answer any questions. Their friendliness adds warmth to the overall atmosphere. Housekeeping — done daily and always at a high level. Location — just incredible. Complete peace and quiet, as if you are cut off from the bustle of everyday life. The seaside relaxation area is very well organized: separate terraces among the rocks with stairs leading into the sea. It gives the wonderful feeling of being one-on-one with the Adriatic — no crowds, just harmony with nature. I am already looking forward to coming back next year!

Verified reviewReally great experience with villa Tamaris. Eventhough the hotel is a bit older and definitely needs a renovation, it does not minimize the comfort. Everything was clean, the rooms are literaly 5 meteres or less from the sea, the food was good with various opitons and the staff was super nice and helpful, especially the receptionist mrs Marijana, all praises to her. Looking forward to come again.

Verified reviewBreakfast and dinner is good, wine and beer included. Desserts not bad. Fittness is well-equipped. Sea is very close to apartman, 20m from the door.
Fitness room is not really usable in summer, temperature is about 40C° with airconditioner. But there are outdoor fittness possibilities too.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was a lot of things to choose from😍 Our room had a BEAUTIFUL see view, when we arrived the room was already nice and cold from AC and smelld clean and fresh. The beach is clean and the castle of krk was a few minutes walk! Everyone was really kind, and also found something i left in the room, and promised to send it to me after my vacay. 🫶🏼🤍

The worst hotel we have ever stayed at, especially considering the price (200 euros per night) versus the quality of the amenities and services. The furnishings are old and damaged, and there is an extra charge for sunbeds. With a child (and a stroller), we were given a room on the first floor without an elevator. The air conditioning only works at night and cannot be turned on during the day. If we weren't here for just a few days, I would consider canceling the reservation and finding alternative accommodation.

Verified reviewIt is very close to the city by feet, this hotel provides a parking secured and the view is outstanding ( not from the room but the hotel itself)
This hotel is extremely loud, you can hear everything in the hallway or in the garden. Everything is outdated ! they should really do a renovation in this property. The organization is terrible; different building and the employees aren’t great either It is sad because this view can worth millions! Just know that you are paying for an incredible view and a close access to the city. Don’t expect great quality for the rooms. For this price, I wouldn’t complain though
