the owners were lovely. when they accidentally didn’t give us the right amount of linen and sheets, they immediately rectified this. they also gave us numerous recommendations about where to go and were readily available to answer all questions. the location was also perfect and well centred

we expected two beds based on the photos but there was only one and a sofa bed

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. It was amazing to be able to step out of the apartment and be right in the heart of Split's old town! Being a 20 minute walk from the nearest beach was lovely, as well as being so close to lots of restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. The apartment was very comfortable, and with such an excellent location it was ideal for a fun and relaxing week in Split!

The hot water ran out quite quickly. No oven but other than that the kitchen facilities were very good.

the apart was well located, convenient to all; the palace, restaurants, konzum little supermarket, the port for leisure walks with a view. the 2 bedrooms where comfortable, kitchen/dinning area fine.

the 2 motion sensitive lights totally disrupted any comfort to relax in the apartment. They kept lighting on & off constantly. Very annoying day and nights. Without that; we would have rated the apart much better as a great recommendation.

We liked the personal approach of the host, the location, the cleanliness and having access to a kitchen.

There is very little to be critical about, but we would have liked better pillows.

The location is very good, the apartment is also very spacious and has all utilities needed. The bathroom was very clean and you can easily cook inside if needed.

It is an old apartment, hence the isolation is not as good as I would like to but is not terrible either. On the other hand I did not like at all the bed and especially the matress and pillows, simply very uncomfortable.

This apartment is perfect for exploring Split and surrounding areas. Communication with Darko, the apartment owner, was excellent. Darko met us on arrival, showed us around the apartment and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. Nothing was too much trouble. Centrally located, Val apartment is surrounded by restaurants, shops and of course the UNESCO site - Diocletians Palace. Apartment Val was well equipped with everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The Wi-Fi was great, the shower hot and the bed comfy. Beautiful, Park Marjan, with fabulous views of split and with stunning beaches is within walking distance as is the Riva and the port for ferries to other islands and Dubrovnik. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Darko for making us feel so welcome.

Great communication with the host. Apartment was great and very clean. Many restaurants just few steps away. Would recommend or stay here again.

Not much to write. We enjoyed our stay and host was always available to answer any questions we had.

Very easy to find and easily accessible. Also important that there were not a lot of stairs! Located in a very convenient part of the town to allow easy come and go during the day.

The late night party goers who walked home past our windows were always quite loud. But it wasn’t continuous, only noted at certain times of the night when certain bars/clubs closed.

The location was central & only a 10 minute walk to the Diocletion Palace. Despite this, it was very quiet at night and we had a peaceful nights sleep. Darko was punctual & very friendly & helpful & gave us some tourist tips. The apartment was spotless.

Very clean and comfortable. Good hot water for shower. Great central location for exploring and eating out. Darko, the owner was very friendly and welcoming - he met us on arrival and then provided assurance he could be reached at any time if we needed assistance.

The master bedroom was very noisy at night (due to groups of people walking past)- but I guess that comes with being in such a central, busy area!
