There was nothing I/we did not like about the apartment in Villa Franka. I will however let other potential guests know that the villa lies on a very steep hill above the town/harbor and especially going up in the heat or after having dinner required some good leg muscles and that you are in good shape, and the 15 min it takes to go down can easily be 25 min going up :-)

Really nice and spacious apartment for a family of 4 or could also have been two couples as there are two bedrooms with their own separate bathrooms. It was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and the most stunning view of the sea from a nice and large balcony.

There was not a toaster in the apartment which we would have appreciated

Beautiful apartment! Jaksa was so kind and helpful, and provided a clean and lovely accommodation. The pool was incredible and the view was breathtaking. Jaksa and his daughter kindly gave us lifts to and from the port which was a godsend with our luggage! We cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved everything

Absolutely superb place to stay. Jaksa is obviously very proud of his home and so he should be, it’s so beautiful. The view from both the apartment and the pool is fantastic and it’s so beautifully clean and well looked after. Jaksa and his family are wonderful hosts, kind and very friendly, he picked us up and took us back for the ferry, which was much appreciated. It is at the top of a hill, but we were aware of that when we booked and it’s a very small price to pay for the views you get. The room was really lovely, the bed incredibly comfortable and the shower very powerful! It was equipped with everything we needed, and there’s a supermarket round the corner. Bol itself is perfect, lots of fabulous restaurants and places to have a drink and watch the world go by. We’re already planning our next visit!

Jaksa was amazing, sooo friendly, he picked us up from the port and dropped us off after our stay which was amazing. The villa is beautiful. The view looking over the pool and out onto the sea was amazing, as well as the view of the mountains behind the villa. Everything was super super clean, the beds were huge and so comfy, good working air-con and great kitchen facilities. The grounds were so well kept, and it was really really quiet. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Bol.

We had an incredible time at Villa Franka! The hosts are very welcoming and we felt at home right from the start. The studio is cosy and has everything you need. We especially loved the view, the pool and the peaceful surroundings on the outskirts of Bol and we already can't wait to be back!

Nothing everything was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful. This villa exceeded expectations. The views were outstanding. Swimming pool was perfect to chill around and take a morning dip. The host Jaksa and his wife were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother for them. The villa was immaculately clean as was the whole property and gardens. If you want somewhere to recharge your batteries, this is the place to go. We loved every second and will return again. Highly recommend! Also, try Jaksa's wine it's fabulous.

The poolside bathing area is small and without parasols. It was very hot during our stay, and finding shade on a lounger after 2pm is tricky. . Although there is an indoor area to sit in with table and chairs . The walk back from Boll is a trek after a relaxing evening - the extra expense of a taxi might be worth it !

The villa is superb in terms of its panoramic views, high spec of the interior, and undeniable dedication of the host Jaksa. Uniquely, the location offers one to one experience of the mountains wildlife. If you enjoy nature, there's plenty to see - birds ,butterflies and crickets that sing all day and night. We particularly loved the diving swifts! Apartments themselves are beautifully appointed, plenty of fresh towels including swimming ones. The pool is impressive with its incredible views and is exceptionally clean. Boll itself is charming and has good vibes going on. It peserves its class, even though it is busy. The food is good quality BUT nowhere near as delicious as Rank restaurant recommended by the host. It's a most go dining experience and very reasonably priced. Supermarkets are very well stocked and handy only 5 minutes walk. The beaches are impressive-stoney, though and 20 min walk. Waters are dreamy. A great boutique villa !

There’s nothing to complain about with Villa Franka

Villa Franks is a very well built complex and has well groomed grounds. The integration with the vineyard next to the site is also charming and better yet, it’s all authentic with the host having been born a few doors up the road. We loved our time there.

We thought property was totally non smoking but other guests were smoking by the pool. The hill down to the harbour is very steep so be prepared for a very good climb to get home. Great way of exercising off the calories after a delicious meal though 😁

We stayed in penthouse apartment which was stunning. The views of Hvar and Zlatni Rat were awesome.

It's an amazing experience! Hospitality of Mr. Jakša is outstanding, the house looks and feels new, comfortable, modern, with classic furniture. The house is located away from crowd and noise, allowing you to hear only the nature, and that is priceless. Highly recommended!

The property is exactly how it looks like and much more beautiful. The location is perfect to stay out from the traffic but close enough to walk to the city center. The olive trees, the vineyards, the sea view and the crickets make it magic. We have loved the dark and the stars in the evenings and the pool was amazing. The apartment was equipped with all needed. Thank you!

There is nothing that we did not like :)

The Villa is set in a beautiful location, just a 5-10 minute walk away from the beach and it’s town/restaurants. There is a shop just round the corner from the villa. It is beautiful, well kept, very clean, super comfortable, and perfect if you are after a relaxing place to stay that is close to the town and beaches but also not in the hustle and bustle or where it’s noisy. it’s so peaceful and calm. The swimming pool is a great bonus, it’s a beautiful infinity pool and great for a morning or evening relax before or after your day. Franka and her family are wonderful people and they made sure that we had everything that we needed and helped us with planning our trips. They are really attentive and made sure we had the most wonderful time!

There's nothing we disliked about our stay.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay : the nice house, the comfort of the penthouse, the incredible view and the lovely swimming pool. The hosts were perfect. We strongly recommend Villa Franka.

We had a fantastic week staying here in June! Jaksa was so friendly and very helpful. Our apartment was extremely clean and the views from the balcony were stunning! It is a good 15 minute walk uphill from the port but there are plenty of taxis. The location is beautiful and lovely and peaceful away from all the hustle and bustle. We even received a lovely bottle of wine made from the vineyards next to the property!
