Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location of the apartment was excellent. Its so near the beach and also has 2 beautiful pools on site. Marijeta was an excellent hostess, she was so welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a lovely week and would definitely recommend this beautiful place.

United KingdomThe property overlooks a beautiful bay, and the pool at the front is stunning. The apartments are lovely and clean, and our host Marijeta is very welcoming. Plenty of space around the apartment with BBQs and sitting areas. I’d thoroughly recommend it!

AustriaAt the time of our stay another apartment was built directly opposite our apartment - and so on weekdays noise on the construction site was inevitable. But due to the massive gardenwall this was only a minor disturbance for us and the site will be finished soon anyway.
A beautiful premise with two pools and a really nice and caring landlord - Marijeta! Apart from one day in Dubrovnik and several shopping trips we stayed in town and enjoyed apartment, pool and the nearby beach. We even booked one additional night and took our trip home on one day instead of planned two days. The car lingered in the shadow of a garage and our dog "Rasputin" was also very content! A very pleasant stay!

IrelandGreat view, pool shared only with 1 more apartment so it was never full. Pebble beach is 3min away if you wanna swim in the sea. Private parking in garage was amazing as car was always cool. We took Uber to Dubrovnik (10€ one way - amazing city but try to avoid restaurants there) Definitely recommending sand beach Prapratno - 45min drive, and doing a day trip to Korčula Island (1h45min with ferry ride, you can get passenger ferry for 3.6€ one way, and get lunch at Dalmatinac restaurant in Orebić (4min walk from ferry and food under 14€!!) Also while in Prapratno do Wine tasting in numerous wineries within 20min drive from it.

FinlandSome construction going on near by but we didn’t even mind the noises it made.
We had a lovely and relaxed holiday at Villa Marijeta. We had the appartment at the same level as the lower swimming pool and it was so nice to just walk out to the terrace and Enjoy the beautiful views and amazing sunsets. Apartment had a good equipped kitchen for cooking. Apartment was clean and had a good size living room with a smart tv. Our hostess Marijeta was so friendly and helpfull in many ways. Made us really feel welcome. Location is perfect If you don’t want to stay at busy Dubrovnik. Uber to old town was about 12 euros and to airport 35 euros. We walked twice to Zaton, it is about 10 km there and back along the coastline, beautiful.

AustraliaThe apartment is old, but in excellent condition and clean. We didn't mind, but there are lots of steps up to the apartment (we had apartment 2).
The picturesque views from the balcony were better than I imagined they'd be. The swimming pool (infinity) is very big and has views out to the bay. Seating area below the infinity pool area is nice to sit and eat dinner and watch the sunset. The new BBQ was a nice addition. The apartment is large, with lots of storage and a nice big couch. Wifi works well too. FYI - We knew this in advance, but there are only 2 restaurants nearby, but that is about all. We walked to the Studenac supermarket which was about 2.5kms away. We took an Uber into the big Konzum supermarket next to the port area for supplies. Bonus, Konzum is near Dubrovnik Beer Company which has fabulous beer!

FinlandThere was no nearby food market to quickly grab something if needed, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Just remember to buy everything when you visit the city.
Marijeta was very helpful and polite. We were really taken care of. The view from the villa was beautiful and relaxing. We had a lot of privacy, and the villa was full of cozy spots to relax and read a book. The apartment was spacious, and the smart TV allowed us to log in to Netflix and other apps or streaming sites to watch series from time to time. Two different pools gave a choice of privasy too. We used the one which nobody else used during the time we stayed. That was how we got perfect holiday for us what we needed. We took an Uber to the center of Dubrovnik almost every day, but then we got to return to the more relaxing setting where the villa was.

NetherlandsNo breakfast nearby. Go to Lidl market or go early in the morning to babin kuk or nearby the harbour. The foto's on the website don't tell anything. You've to discover it by yourself.
It was perfect! The accommodation was nice. 2 pools, the view was fenomenal. Everything was clean! 3 minute walk to the sea, not a lot of stairs. Boat rental was cheaper than Dubrovnik. No breakfast nearby, but you can go to Lidl. 20 minutes drive. Tip for visitors, from the airport. You past the lidl when you drive to apartement. The local market is a lot more expensive. And the old town is easy to go by car and bus. Put your Car at parkiraliste in center and go by Bus. Car 1,3 euro p/h, and bus 2,5 euro single trip.

Fantastic Stay at Villa Marijeta We spent five days at Villa Marijeta, and it was the highlight of our vacation. We felt right at home. A fantastic pool is just 5 meters from our room, where we could enjoy a fabulous view of the cozy garden and the huge terrace. It’s only 100 meters to a lovely stone beach. The apartment is located in a local area that is very quiet and peaceful, even though you can see cars from the road, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The apartment has everything we need. The wonderfully cold air conditioning and the dishwasher are a big plus for us. Marijeta is very helpful and provided us with all the necessary information. The villa has four apartments and two swimming pools, which is incredible. We would like to recommend this apartment, especially the studio room that we stayed in. Thank you very much for making our vacation perfect, and we will definitely come back again. Thank you agian Merijeta

IrelandAn ideal size with with all the facilities you need, kitchen, wifi, washing machines, dryer, smart tv, air con, nice patio area and the choice of two pools.
We had a fabulous 4 night stay in the Villa Marijeta. The location is ideal at just €10 taxi ride into Dubrovnik itself. The location is nice and quiet with the option of a beach, and a nice pizzeria to eat at in the evening. The villas offer two pools with stunning views. The owner is very helpful and easily contactable, she dropped us clean towels for our stay. The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away - which is very handy. She also provided great information on places to visit and things to do! Would highly recommend for a great stay!

RomaniaThe apartment we stayed in was quite big, had a nice sea view and sunset view right in front of it and had everything we needed (electric stove, microwave, cutlery, etc.). The property has 2 pools, both with gorgeous views and is very quiet and clean. Great location, really close to the beach and 2 restaurants. The host was really nice, waited for us on a storm at 10pm and explained everyhing we needed, even gave us recommendations of where to eat and what to visit and checked in on us to see if we’re happy with everything at the location. We will definitely come back since it has become our favourite location! ❤️❤️
