The family couple we stayed with was exceptionally pleasant and demonstrated a professional approach to welcoming guests. We arrived quite late with my son, and they were expecting us. They welcomed us wonderfully, showed us everything, and gave advice on where to spend time, and in the morning they fed us an incredibly delicious breakfast on the lower terrace. We enjoyed staying in these apartments. Very convenient location - next to the bus station - 10 minutes easy walk.

Staying at this place was an absolute pleasure! The location is perfect – close to all the main attractions, yet quiet and peaceful, allowing for total relaxation. The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and always fresh – a great way to start the day. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. What truly made the stay special were the incredibly kind and welcoming hosts – always smiling, helpful, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Rosa was a very friendly, generous and helpful host. The view was just brilliant. Parking on site but make sure you get directions from Rosa, bit tricky to find. Easy once you know! Really enjoyable breakfast, every option available. Absolutely nothing to fault.

Great location, perfect stop along the way place to stay. Makarska is lovely. With it's own private parking too (free) And a lovely host!

The only thing for me was the room size. But fab for the money.

Good location, very welcoming, nice and pleasant hostess who worked hard to ensure that you were happy at breakfast.

Definitely wasn't the room I booked from the pictures on their website on booking.com. I only booked the place because of their pictures showing a large room and balcony overlooking the magnificent beach. However, I was given a very small side room that didn't have any room to unpack cases or sit down apart from on the bed. It had a poor and very restricted side view of the beach from the very small enclosed balcony (the view was actually the washing hanging out to dry of the people in the front room). Room also had a very small bathroom (and definitely not the large one shown in their pictures). Overall, I felt conned by their pictures to book the place and felt rather cheated by the experience. No kettle, no coffee - nothing to entice you back to the room.

Toni and Rosa gave us a wonderful 2 days. They are a great host. They were very helpful, warm and friendly. The rooms have a magnificent view. It was very enjoyable to watch the sunset on the balcony. It was very clean. It was very close to the beaches and the center. We loved that our eggs were prepared specially for us at breakfast. We will definitely come again.

If you are on foot, it's small trek to arrive, but not bad if you don't mind walking a bit up hill.

Clean apartment building. Room was good size, very comfortable bed, great shower, and the view from the balcony was awesome. Greeted on arrival. Private parking - very tight space, be prepared for hair pin turns and hill starts! The complimentary breakfast provided by Rosa (such a welcoming host) was exceptional - choice of cereals, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, eggs, and “real” coffee was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Friendly, helpful host, really good and diverse breakfast.

Nice Hotel within footwalking distance of town main sights and waterfront. Clean and nice rooms, ours had a balcony towards the Adria. Very convient to have free parking at the house back side. Good breakfast in the morning.

The property is great but you need to know that there are stairs to access the house and there are hills and stairs to get down to the beach and promenade.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Rosa, and would recommend it anyone who are visiting the area. A wonderful full, hot breakfast to start your day, safe parking on premises with a short visit to the beach.
