Dinner could have been a-little more extensive. We had trout and vegetables. I love grilled vegetables and they definitely were prepared just like I like them. But a basket of nice bread and butter, maybe a baked potatoe and a fancy desert would have rounded the dinner meal out nicely. It simply was too sparse and didn’t meet the high standards that the rest of the house presented.

There had to have been a MASTER CRAFTSMAN who constructed our bedroom and bathroom. The woodwork was beautifully designed and as sturdy and elegant as I have ever seen. The bathroom tiling was amazing. The rest of the house was also lovely along with the deck, pool, grounds with sheep baying in the distance. This was a real find and I would highly recommend you try it out. Price for dinner and the wine were also very reasonable.

We had a very warm welcome. The staff were extremely friendly. The barbecue was tasty, though a little expensive. I would recommend this place for a stay close to Plitvice Lakes, in a beautiful setting.

Very clean, big, light rooms. The Host Mate was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We stayed 3 nights with our family and visited the national park and spent a day swimming at the river 15 mins away.

Absolutely exceeded expectations! Everything about our stay was beyond what we hoped for. The villa is stunning and the rooms—beautifully designed, set in a charming area, and equipped with excellent facilities. Martin, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and his English is excellent, which made communication easy. Each morning, we were treated to a freshly prepared breakfast, which was a lovely touch. The cleanliness of the villa was outstanding—spotless in every detail. Highly recommended. The location of Villa Stone was fantastic. Less than 10 minutes from Plitvic Lakes and only 20 minutes from the border which meant we could visit Bosnia for the day. Our room and the bathroom were really big so we had plenty of space. They cherry on the cake was Mate, the owner who was really friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. He gave us lots of advice of the area and things to see. I would definitely stay here again,

The b&b is just a 15 minute drive from plitvice lake county park. We bought a 2-day ticket to the park and stayed in Villa stone overnight. There's free parking on site. Easy check in and check out. Spacious and clean flat.

This is a great place to stay for the Plitvice lakes. Mateo is a very nice host who makes you feel very welcome and gave us some good restaurant recommendations close to the villa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The Plitvice lakes are so stunning and a must visit whenever you visit Croatia!

I found a bit awkward that we were asked for the payment straight away even before seeing the room. There was a kettle in the room but not complimentary coffee sachets or tea provided. There was a tea box with one tea bag. This would have been a nice touch which I had in the other seven properties I stayed in Croatia.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The location is absolutely beautiful —in a lovely, quiet area 5 min drive to the Park. The place itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious and well maintained. Communication with the owner was good—quick, clear, and helpful from start to finish.

I liked everything. The pictures truly show what you get. Amazing accommodation, highly recommend. The room had everything you needed, really high spec with a lovely view to the pool.
