Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA lot of the facilities were closed or closing due to it being towards the end of the season. Appreciate this happens but would have been nice to be warned in advance rather than promote all facilities available and then find them not. Buffet restaurants was overwhelming with how disorganised it is and how busy it gets, can’t imagine what it would be like in the peak season.
Lovely setting, beautiful resort, very impressed. Clean.

IrelandThe house was not cleaned during our stay. I had to ask for towels. No beach towels available to hire. Children under 1 year old absolutely need their buggy or pram in the pool areas. The charge for the train was robbery €5 pps was ok but for a family of 5 works out at 50€ to go to Nin? Need to look at having a family rate. Charging for the beds at the pool is scandalous!!!! Impossible to get get an Uber a car is needed. The food was similar in every restaurant. The fish and chips in the take away was the worst, lack of food for the price and it was cold (pizza were nice).
The park had great variety of pools and little kids areas. The evening entertainment for kids was good. The house was very clean and stylish. The house was good in a good location and very quiet.

United KingdomIt would be nice if the self catered apartments had dishwashers. I booked a reservation for a large group for a celebration in Ventula and they confirmed it via email, however they did not actually put it in their books. So if it was in season busy - we would not have been able to celebrate 2 important events, which was the reason for the trip. Nevertheless, we did have space and were able to celebrate. The server did an amazing job too, so thank you 😊
The resort is very big, plenty of space for everyone to do whatever they want and for the place to not be overcrowded. We came mid September and the weather was fantastic and it was nicely busy but not too busy. Beaches are nice and tidy. Pools are nice and plenty of options to choose from. Water is warmer in the new pool rather than the one by the sea. Food options are a bit limited if you have allergies while the menu tells you the allergens - almost all items has similar allergens.

United KingdomWe were half board. The food choice was extensive, the restaurant was large plus outside space, but there were so many people you soon realised to try and manage your arrival away from peak flow and at breakfast it felt like you were on a main city railway station concourse during morning rush hour.
Sunsets looking across the beach / water front. Massive resort area, yet everywhere was kept spotlessly clean from seafront, to pools, to walkways, and apartment areas. Lots of people, but the facilities were also large eg the new swimming pool probably had 80+ people in and the pool still had plenty of room to swim or play or lounge around. Choice of food / drink options and in mid Sept we had no wait times We had a superior on bed apartment, it was very spacious, modern and gave everything you wanted, plus outside balcony space.

UkraineFor the number of people use your restaurant you have 5 times less space in the restaurant and tables. Very crowded restaurant, food is not refilling 30 mins before closing . So empty plates . Big lines to get food . That was horrible

SlovakiaDinners at the restaurant are a fight for your life, very crowded and loud. We had a long queue at the reception upon arrival and the process took quite a long time. They also forgot to make an order for our airport transfer, we had to contact the reception after arrival.
Amenities at the resort are great. Kids loved horse riding. Beach is sandy and shallow, ideal for kids. There is everything You need at the resort - shops, doctor, cafees, ice cream. Lot of activities for kids - mimi disco, activities during a day, kids club. The pool is a lot fun.

IrelandThe queue for the check-in was very long this time around. I wish they could offer pre-check in so that we can use the swimming pools and proper check-in later.
This was the 4th time we stayed in Zaton Holiday Resort. Every time we visit here, there are new improvements, which is pretty impressive. We enjoyed the swimming pool, the caffe and the new restaurant.

CanadaVery expensive. Everything is an additional fee. Example, you have to pay for a chair at the pools or have to sit on the floor. Seems a bit much considering the cost to stay there. I understand not a cabana but providing a chair for the price paid seems like a reasonable request. One life guard for a giant pool and slides. We had an incident with teenagers going down the slides when it was not clear to do so and sliding into my 5 year old head. It could have been a serious injury Presto the take out place substituted ingredients not on the menu and then argued with us about it. My daughter ordered a smoothie, the menu listed fruit and apple juice. It arrived and tasted awful. I asked what was in it and they had used a detox ginger juice because they were out of apple juice. I had to argue to have it remade with something that tasted good. A second employee came and remade it with lemonade and it was great. We had other issues with the food from them not what was stayed on the menu but was edible and didn’t want to argue again. We won’t go back. All other restaurants were great.
Great resort with lots to do for all ages. Very clean and spacious rooms. Most restaurants had great food Kids loved the mini driving school, theme park, pools and slides Bakery and grocery stores on site. Very convenient Provided a golf cart for bring our luggage to the room

RomaniaI would recommend the hosts to include the sunbeds in the room price. I also think it would be useful for the restaurant area to have more tables for 4-5 people and fewer for 10-12. This is to avoid the long waiting time to find a table.
It was a great vacation. The location is very beautiful, an oasis of greenery, sea with clear water and beautiful pools. The room we stayed in was very large, clean and with a nice design. The food was diverse and tasty. The evening shows were to our liking. Paola, Leona and Angelica are the best.

SlovakiaYou have to pay 19 eur for sunbed with umbrella at the beach (if not included in your booking). Then if in the afternoon you decide to go to the pools, you have to pay another 19 eur, since reservation is not "movable".

LithuaniaDue to the size of the resort, often they lose quality for quantity (f.e. the cleanliness of the room, the service at the restaurant, long wait at the check-in desk etc.). Also, as the place is really crowdy, it might not be suitable for people who are looking for peaceful vacation.
The resort is huge, with all the necessary facilities and a lot of attractions. Often you dont even need to leave the site, as you have everything at the resort.

AustriaThere were so many ants in the apartment, so it was very uncomfortable. We had to buy a spray killing them and use it every day because they came inside again and again. Given the price paid, we did not expect that sunbeds and umbrellas should be paid extra money. Similar resorts where we stayed before included it in the price.
The location of the resort, the sea, the beach, the pools, the food - all this was excellent! We are very satisfied with that.
