Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyMy half-board experience at this hotel left much to be desired. While there was a variety of meal options, the food quality was consistently poor. Fortunately, due to the low season, the restaurant was never crowded, providing a quieter atmosphere. However, the beach experience came with extra costs for amenities like showers and toilets, which was disappointing. Overall, if dining quality is a priority, this might not be the ideal choice, despite the quiet ambiance and convenient location near the beach.
This hotel offers an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. However, some facilities were outdated, which could use an update for a more modern experience. Despite this, the friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. If you value location and room size with a balcony, this hotel is a good choice, though a renovation would enhance the experience.

Slovakia- Breakfast was okay, however, it could have a more variety. - Hotel is a bit outdated and should be updated, it but could be what fans of 80s are looking for. - the indoor pool was out of order - some sunbeds were not in good condition but still usable
- Hotel is on peninsula surrounded by beach on both sides - beautiful beach with many sun umbrellas to rent (2 sunbeds + umbrella = 18 eur per day) - a huge outdoor parking space next to the hotel (6 eur per day) - a good hotel bar with large terrace overlooking the old city Primosten - location (10min walk to the old city Primosten)

SwedenFood is pretty average. Sunbed was for extra money and even SHOWER on the beach was for extra money. Checkout should have been at 10, but cleaning came at 9:30 and asked to checkout (but I told that it’s 30 mins more and they let me stay longer). Super uncomfortable pillows
Perfect location. 1 minute to the beach. Blue water like on pictures

Salad bar in dinner time was nice. Main dish was tasteful but not a lot of choices. Breakfast was ok. The amazing is that the hotel is really next to the beach. It took me only 1 and half minute from the room to be in the see

Czech RepublicUpon arrival conditions were changed and we ended in a somehow premium room without the promised balcony. The rocks and the flora/ fauna of the coastal line has been damaged forever into a stone beach.
Its a dive into old style Eastern European tourism with its food, its crushed stoney beach and its concrete building. I enjoyed the charm of it.

SlovakiaThe food standard was lower than expected. The indoor swimming pool is out of service. The air conditioning on the room was undersized. Small things make a big difference - this was also in this case.
The beach was nice, the sea was perfect and the rooms were good equipped with enough space. The staff was nice.

SwedenThe male cleaners need to up their game! The girl with the curls should be their manager and teach them how it's done! The AC needs to be better, maybe upgrade to a wall-placed newer AC? I would remove the carpets, it's a bit 80s and not so fresh. I think all in all the hotel needs a little bit of a makeover to step out of the 80s :-) And please make sure your staff is happy and service minded as that makes up for a lot of other things! We were not informed about that we had to pay for parking so that was a bit of a surprise to us when checking out. We have also been charged for something called ruža vjetrova - don't know what that is :-)
A hotel that is a bit outdated but situated at the best location in Primosten according to us! So if you are not fussy then we suggest you stay here! Breakfast is ok, it has variety so you can always get something you like. The patio outside lets you eat and look at a fantastic view at the same time! The evening meals were a bit too plain for our taste but I think they suit people with kids! There were always a couple of options. The inside restaurant gives off a bit of a school canteen feel. Some of the staff is absolutely lovely but some definitely need to have some lessons in being service minded with all that it entails, it does not hurt to crack a smile and even if you're bored with signing people in for breakfast and dinner or when you have complaining guests. It has a piano bar upstairs with a really nice bartender! The room we had was big, it had the best location in the whole hotel on the bottom floor facing the beach. The AC did not work and it was in the middle of a heat wave so that was a bit of a struggle but the hotel gave us a good discount for our whole stay as compensation. Unfortunately, the AC is probably of lower quality since when it started "to work" it was still warm in the room even with the AC on high :-) The cleaners...what to say...there is a girl that has worked there for 7 years, very professional and VERY good at her job, unfortunately, she had to spend a lot of time cleaning up after the other cleaners that worked there. It's a calm and quiet hotel, even if families stayed here it was not too noisy! The hotel has probably been absolutely fantastic back in the days and with a bit of love, it can be so again! No other hotel can beat this location! We will definitely come back (if we can have the same room) :) but we will not choose the half-board next time.

CroatiaPart of the beach with beach beds and sun protection / parasols should be available for free for hotel guests. It’s not fair that while staying in hotel and paying good money, we need to ‘rent’ and spent additional money (high price) every day on stuff that should be provided to us by hotel free of charge.
Location, above everything else. Hotel is perfectly positioned, staff are nice, room big enough, terrace was great and we were very satisfied with our stay of one week.

PortugalThe room numbering system is difficult to understand and the hotel is huge, so in the beginning it is very confusing. The first room smelled very bad in the bathroom, so we asked to change and the staff gave us another room which was ok. The hotel needs urgent repairs a bit everywhere, but still we enjoyed our stay, although at 120 euros a night it is largely overpriced for a worn out hotel. Biggest disappointment was the indoor swimming pool, which is panoramic as they advertise, but was closed (and it was raining outside).
Location is fantastic, and a short walk from the regional bus stop. Primosten is really a bit of paradise on earth. The staff was all very nice, competent and active. Breakfast and dinner were good value for money.
