The personnel's language skills are REALLY poor. They don't really speak English. They didn't seem very friendly at the reception either. When we left, they had a technical issue and were only able to accect cash. Oh well things happen, but still cash only. What about if we had stayed for a week? Hotel beds did not have proper sheets, just like a bed cover. Breakfast staff was friendly, but breakfast choice was not very varied or healthy. Hotel rooms had two floors and downstairs it was super cold if we put an airconditiong on, but it was mandatory upstairs, because a bedroom got really warm during the day.

Ther rooms were recently renovated and nice. They were also clean. The hotel's main building is really beautiful and you can have breakfast in the garden.

The resturant of the hotel is not recommended. We took dinner there as the only guests, food was just so so. One waiter was watching TV behind bar counter, I called sereval times but got no response and finally had to walk to him for requesting anything.

Old but beautiful hotel, especially during evening when lights on. Good location, 10 min walking from train station and only 5 min walking from lake side. Staff on reception was nice and helpful.

On booking.com it was a choice to have dinner, but the hotel never takes booking like that. They only do breakfast, dinner and accomodation type of bookings. So booking.com didn't give correct information. Also it is a bit on the pricey side but very comfortable accomodation.

The room was very clean, and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner was smorgasboard type with great food and lots of variety.

They are missing air conditioning, they did have a fan in the room, but on hotter days AC is a must.

The hotel is in a great location, spacious room, very clean, parking for free, nice staff speaks english. I'll be back for sure.

The room looks awful, very old dated and had a horrible smell of dust. Its furniture was really old and definitely not suitable for a hotel, including the fan that was barely working (since there is no air-condition). There was a planned black-out, but the hotel failed to mention it even though we booked weeks before our stay, and was quite rude when we were unhappy to find out about it. The wifi connection was also not working very well, and again the staff was very rude when we adressed the topic.

Almost nothing.Breakfast was nice (but full of bees) and location was good.

Wi-Fi in rooms cuts out when the TV is turned on. We paid for accommodation with half-board. The breakfast was good, however for the amount we paid, I thought the dinner was average and at the very least, jugs of water or cordial should be supplied.

Great parking ....but you need to access this from Csokonai utca. If you drive down Jókai Mór utca, there is no parking and only pedestrian access to the restaurant. Large rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. (Although the beds are a little short if you are 6ft or taller) Great location - few minutes to shops, cafes and pier. 15 minute walk with kids to Esterhazy Beach.

    nothing, all good.

We stayed in the unit so we had a little kitchen with fridge, microwave and kettle. It was a large unit with plenty of space. Breaky and Dinner are included and the food was great, buffet style. The accommodation is in a perfect position.

One tip - please ask for room on the east side (Csokonai utca), unfortunately Jokai Mor utca is quite noisy all the time.

Very nice hotel in a good localization, the room are newly renovated (very clean). Breakfast plentiful (buffet) and what was important for me pleny of parking place.

Small room - actually not so small but very narrow: 2 single beds with 40 cm space between. I usually don't watch TV in my hotel room, but here the TV set was just 1" (if so) bigger than my tablet. Old furniture. Only a minuscule hair wash shampoo/shower gel sachet.

It was quiet. It was very clean. Decent breakfast.

Where shall I start... Staff is smoking right at the entrance of the hotel. No greetings, no smile from receptionist lady. Waiter at breakfast is eating in the restaurant front of the guests. Generally unprofessional and unmotivated staff. Rooms are big, but dated furniture, smells kind of old. No AC, instead a fan, but no outlet, so your choice to watch the TV or have the fan on. No blind on the window. To summarize: this is an old hotel, seems the management and staff survived the communist era. For much better price you can get a room at a bed and breakfast. Since the town is very small, the central location is really not necessary.

Central location. But next to a busy road and a cheap bar, young folk parties till late. Good and big breakfast.

The furnitures are a little bit old-fashioned, and there is no air-conditioning, which might be an issue in the summer.
