This place is so so so cute and the host, Viktor, is amazing and a really sweet person. Our room had this amazing view on the river and the Parliament it was so romantic at night. Loved this place I really recommend it, and it’s super close to every attraction. 10/10 we will come back for sure :))

Lovely warm and comfortable room, it felt very homely. Good shower and very spacious room. The breakfast was great, a nice variety of sweet and savoury. Thank you to Victor for the helpful recommendations of what to do in the city and the fresh orange juice!

It could have been better if there were more food options on the breakfast. The eggs provided were limited.

Viktor was very friendly and he gave us a lot of recommendations on where to go. He made sure that we got to the apartment safe from the airport and gave extremely clear instructions on how to access the building and the room. Overall 9/10 (exceeded my expectations for and B&B)

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The location is just below the Fisherman's Castle, easy 2 block walk away. And the view from the balcony was of the Parliment Building - Amazing at night! Access to the Danube was not too strenuous going down - the steps up could be a challenge. Breakfast was ample for each day. And the recommendations for dinner were superb!

Located directly below Buda castle (Halászbástya) with nice view of the towers. When you are located on the river side of the building, you have a direct view of Parlament (Országháza). Our room was very spacious, well heated, everything clean, plenty of towels and hairdryer in the bathroom. Good breakfast, always plenty to choose from.

1. The towels could be renewed, , as they are stiff. 2. It would be nice to add at least 1 warm meal at the breakfast (eggs, omelette etc.)

1. Viktor, the manager was extremely friendly, polite and helpful! He made our stay very comfortable! 2. The location is great - just a few minutes by foot from the Fisherman's Bastion. You can also easily reach the subway station, supermarket and bus stop. 3. The room was cleaned every day.

We liked everything. It more than met our expectations.

This Budavar b and b was excellent. Out host Victor was gracious helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The shower room was spacious with plenty of hot water and towels.The balcony was a nice surprise as we could enjoy the morning sunshine. The location too was good. All in all this was an excellent place to stay.

Viktor (the host) was very sweet towards us and the guests that stayed there. The accommodation was very close to Fisherman's Bastion and you could also hear the bells in the morning while drinking your coffee. I would love to visit here again in the near future!

Everything was great, the room was cozy and clean. Magnificent view of the Hungarian Parliament. šatne biggest plus is the location - directly below the Fisherman bastion . We liked everything, the only small drawback was the smaller selection of food at breakfast (smaller but sufficient, you could eat well)

We LOVED our stay at Budavar. The host Viktor was very nice. Our room had a view of the parliament building which we weren't expecting- it was gorgeous lit up at night. The B&B is at the foot of the Fishermans bastion, which was beautiful. Bolt's around the city are very inexpensive and public transport was easy. A great stay for the F1 Grand Prix weekend too. Such a great find

Breakfast

The Breakfast was not up to the mark. We got one slice bread and yogurt. It would have been nicer to get fresh fruits. I would recommend people who stay here to have breakfast outside, or request the staff to get a fresh cooked breakfast.
