None of the stairs had handrails.

Comfortable rooms, indoor pool and space to relax outside on a glorious weekend! Also proximity to town, coffee shop and restaurants.....

Little mold to the wall towards wellness I have expected more options for an 8.5 breakfast, especially more types of "real" bread, or ham for example, but true, I have to admite that I am a very picky person, concerning the food, too:) Smell of food, sometimes on the hallway

Extremly polite, helpful and friendly staff Great, quiet terrace for a coffee/ dink Great location Great view Comfortable room, bed, pillows Clean carpets, room, bath, Nice spa

The spa was smaller than it was supposed. The sauna and the steam was ok, but the swimming pool(s) were too small and worm. But this is ok, this was a small spa, not for real sport.

The interior of the hotel was very nice and elegant. The building is beautiful. The location is outstanding.

We came from Velence Resort and Spa. The hotel was way above Elizabeth Gyula for the same price. Breakfast was very average at this hotel.

    Location was good.

The hotel has a great location, the Castel is about a minute walk, the Spa is an other 5 minutes. The hotel has a good wellness department, the size of the room is excelent, the view from the hotel is fantastic. The stuff was very helpful. Worth to visit.

Hotel restaurant is not available, it is necessary to go out from the hotel for dinner. But it is not an issue - there is a lot of good possibilities around (5 minutes by walk max).

Very nice and well equiped hotel, located in the center of historical part of Gyula, nice for walk and rest.

Comfortable room, a bit on the small side, but big enough. Had an opening window which is what we like, even though there is air conditioning. Comfortable bed, very nice breakfast, nice indoor spa, but preferred the public pool which was a lot bigger and less crowded. Very nice dinner. Excellent staff who were very helpful. Great location next to the public thermal spa, and lots of good restaurants

Everything was nice. Only soft mattress. Hotel parking was additionally charged. Hotel is good, everything is good, however I think that is not real 4☆ maybe strong 3+ ☆.

Peacefull and quite place. Good food - breakfast and dinner - smorgasbord. Very close to spa. Nice and helpfull staff. Clean and tidy.

    - the matrimonial bed was in fact 2 mattresses in one bed frame - mosquitos - rust in the bathroom - the mini-fridge was broken - the coffee is really bad - nobody really speaks English

    - the food - free parking, even after check out for a few hours - the rooms are very spacious - the location - AC in the room

The only thing that I could specify as a minus is that the rooms don't have a balcony (which would have been nice to admire the view); but this is something related to the building architecture, which can not be changed :)...

Great location (view to the castle, short walking distance to spa,...), nice and friendly staff, private parking (additional fee, but I find it is worthy), very clean, good breakfast, etc...

The personnel should be more polite with foreign guests. Also they should show more attention to guest needs.

The hotel is well placed near the public baths and the twon castle. Nice and quiet. The breakfast was good.

They are not enough good in defending guests' interests in resting. At local concerts noise is unpermittably high. Some time the TVC set does not work. They are not enough tough to service parners to fullfill their task. Usually they give draft beer with embarrasingly much foam, it is a very old school trick against customers. Some rooms are very good, some are less (in the same category of de luxe). In some rooms beds and bed-clothes are poor and not very clean.

Wellness parts are excellent. Unfortunately, they allow to local people to go to wellness just so, so sometime wellness is too full, especially in small places like sauna. Some of personel are good, some are less.

The sheets looked old, like they had been used for too long of a time, no a la carte menu, which was a pain for us, the water in the indoor pool was too cold to swim in. Although we asked for the room to be cleaned daily all we got was arranging the bed and changing the garbage. No vacuuming or anything else.

The hotel felt cozy. The staff was very attentive and proactive. Very good location - close to the baths and city center. quiet street.

Sometimes the dinner was so poor that you hardy could eat something. I don`t think they have a chef there. The food served for dinner could be also easily cooked by a very young housewife. They said they don`t serve tap water because it is a 4* hotel, but the dinner was a 2* hotel`s dinner.

The Elizabeth hotel is nice and clean but I consider it too expensive, even considering the Hungarian standard. The breakfast is good but poor comparing to other hotels, almost equal as price but located in the heart of Budapest.

The staff is always smiling and friendly. I was impressed of how clean the hotel is.

Dinner was expensive for what is was compared with some of the good restaurants in town. Beds a little soft for some and pillows a trifle small. Wifi OK, but having to relog-in every so often made it frustrating.

An elegant building with elegant rooms in an excellent location. Good bathroom. Air conditioning that worked. Good parking in a protected area. Nice breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff.

The double bed is with 2 mattresses, can be annoying but not a problem. The staff tried to charge us first for requesting an extended checkout, but after we told them about genius perks they gave it for free. The breakfast was a bit boring.

Large rooms, nice furniture, very comfortable. Dinner was great every time. Close to Castle Spa.

This was absolutely perfect. It was more than we could have hoped for. The room is well-equipped and very clean with super high speed internet. This allowed me to work on my laptop as well. We are happy to have found this place next to the bathing-resort with an amazing view of the Castle. If you are looking for an idyllic place to stay in Gyula, to feel welcomed and to disconnect yourself from stress then look no further...you have found it here!
