Very friendly staff. I traveled alone with my dog and had no problems, the pet fee is 10 euro. Great value for money. I only stay for one night and I would recommend this hotel for couples, or solo travellers. The room was clean, warm and had everything you would need for a short stay. I felt safe during the stay. The breakfast was tasty too. Hotel is close to city centre and you can take public transport to the centre. There are also restourants that deliver food to the hotel (and the staff can order for you to make it easier), there is also a little market close by if you need anything.

The mattress had a synthetic lining which made me sweat. Also, I had a double room which I used as a single one and the double bed was made up only on one side, which felt strange and made it less comfortable. The two instant coffee sachets in the room were not renewed after first use

The location was problematic given the wintry conditions. There is a bus, 8E that will take you into the centre of Budapest (Ferenciak Ter) in about 19 mins and 4 mins further on to Keleti Palyaudvar, the main station. However, there is a 10 minute walk along a narrow road to get to the bus stop and it was dangerously slippery at times. When the weather is fine, on the other hand, that little walk would be very pleasant.

I had a two-room apartment and it was very comfortable, nicely decorated, extremely quiet as regards street noise, though there was occasionally some, not really disturbing, from inside the building. The kitchen was adequately equipped All-in-all everything a person (or couple) could ask for.

The bathroom is quite small, but it has all you need and the tap water is hot.

The hotel is very good considering the room`s price. It was warm and clean, we also had a balcony with a beautiful view. The hotel has also an amazing garden and 2 parking lots. It is on a hill, a bit far away from the city center, but you have a direct bus from near the hotel to the center (bus 8E - 20 minutes ride) and from there on foot or with public transport you can get everywhere in Budapest. The staff was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information for our visit trip.

You feel like you could get lost because Budapest is so much bigger than what I am used to.

The staff were friendly. The breakfast was warm and filling. It was easy to get to the bus to go to Kelenfold or to the main train station in the other directions. It wasn't too hard to follow directions from the phone. Budapest is ten times the size of Sydney, so it is always a long way to go.
