Hotel need a renovation, windows are very tiny and therefore it gets cold in the winter.

This is the best choice for budget travelers in Heviz, who need also included spa. Spa is very good and food also,

Staff doesn't speak English and Russian fluently. Previously we always have been assisted by a Russian speaking manager. During this visit she was nowhere to be seen & my attempts to find her through a receptionist have failed.

Food was taditionally excellent. Medical therapy - very professional and always in time. Staff - polite & friendly. Many thanks to Dr Schvillinger Ferenc.

We stayed in the Benjamin area, the conditions were ok but basic. (No flat Tv :) but we didn't have time for TV, we were too busy with the spa area:))) another aspect you should remember is that if you want a hairdryer you should ask one from the reception, the Bathroom in the Benjamin area doesn't offer one.

Excellent indoor treatment pool. Small outdoor pool with great massage spots. Very good food. Too much I could say ;))

Smallish stuffy old room and bathroom,no manicure/pedicure service over the weekend, too short pool&wellness evening opening hours, breakfast buffet could do with more fruit

Good dinner buffet meals with a daily fish menu, great variety of facilities inside the complex, spacious grounds, good wifi, good English at reception, lots of parking, close enough to the lake

    3. On booking.com site IT IS NOT WRITTEN that this hotel has two location, connected by a corridor: A (from Anna) and B (from Benjamin). 4. "A" looks like a hotel from '80s, I don't know how rooms there are. 5. "B" is located in a nice park, but this is the merit of the nature. The building seems to have hundred years, and looks on the outside and inside like an old hospital (see photos). There is no reception in B, the elevator is very old (fortunately works well), there is just one balcony, correspondent to one room. Virtually, balcony is lacking, so it should be removed from MiIscellaneous facilities. In the old building there is no air conditioning, so over 30 outside it is very interesting.... The only air conditioning in the B is the open window. 6. I can accept that working at Reception maybe boring. But it is not necessary to show this to the tourists. 7. Photos with B are completely lacking from the site. Perhaps the attachs are useful. There are many other hotels in Heviz and surroundings, all with spa and swimming pool. I do not recommend Helios.

    1. Restaurant: acceptable, but below average. For sure, cannot be compared with other Hunguest hotels. One particular mention: coffee is terrible! They know how to do it, because in the Lobby Bar is ok. 2. Swimming pool and garden are ok.

Decor poor internally, toilet claustrophobic. Balcony and outside paintwork tatty.

Beds are comfy, food is excellent and plenty of facilities. The decor lets it down, in desperate need of a refurb, but then I guess it wouldn't be so reasonably priced if it was modern and stylish. Second stay here and I would go back again.

The rooms need renovation and better cleaning. Better maintenance in common areas is a must. Breakfast not bad. Dinner : the sheff fights with low cost material to manage a decent buffet dinner.

The mattress could have been better and we could have stayed in the renovated area but it did not matter that much.

We really liked this hotel for all its services. We were there for one rainy weekend but we were not bored at all. We stayed in the non-renovated area but it did not matter, the room was very comfortable. I advise you get a map from the reception and explore the area as there are beautiful parks around. To make it more interesting go on a trip to the nearby town Keszthely and visit the center. It is absolutely stunning. Take a boat trip on Lake Balaton or a Ballon ride to admire the surroundings! Be prepared to eat a lot as the food choice was great! Free wifi to top it up!;)

Basically, I was pleased with the value for Money. The towels and bathrobes are not the newest any more and slowly it is going to be time to replace the carpets.

The Hotel was very quiet, a good place for Relaxation. The guests were, of course, like in every thermal Hotel, older, but one has to expect that. (I am referring to a guest who had an extremely negative oponion about Helios which is simply not true.) There is a large variety of Foods and althought the vegetables are overcooked, there is plenty to choose from. The rooms are a Little seventies style, but I like that. In my opinion, the Restaurant, the Lobby and the Wellness area are perfectly all right, and the magagement organizes remarcable programs free of Charge. For example the Heviz Quartett that played on Apr. 2., was lovely.
