The hotel wasn't up to the normal 3 star rating in my view . The hotel could do with a total revamp . Workman were carrying out repairs and I was woken by the sound of men drilling through walls at 7.45 am .

    The location was good

The walls are so thin that we could hear guests from next room walking, talking, snoring...

The room is big & clean. Surprised by breakfast with a lot of choices. Free wellness on the top floor.

The one omission is the absence of any good restaurants in the immediate vicinity (within a 10-20 minute walk, yes, but on a winter evening after dark the area is kind of bleak and windswept). In every other regard this was pretty flawless.

Great value hotel, certainly out of season. A nice big, comfortable room - with a balcony. The entirely unexpected opportunity to use the sauna and other associated facilities. And an extraordinarily wide range of good quality foodstuffs, of various kinds - from breads and meats (hot and cold) through cereals and the fantastic Hungarian sour cherry cold "soup" and beyond - to choose from at breakfast. Friendly staff, decent bar downstairs too, among other facilities. Although the location is not quite central to the town, it's about only a five-minute walk from the railway and bus station.

We did not get any extra towels/ bathing suits for spa part, also for one evening/night there was no hot water. Shower doesn't have any door, so after taking shower whole bathroom is in water. Walls are this, and rooms could be refreshed.

Breakfast was nice, very close to Balaton, good sauna & jacuzzi, stuff very nice. Clean and big room, comfy bed

If you see only the first picture in the site (nooking.com), you could think it is a vilage house somewhere in the mountains but it is a super hotel. The picture gives improper presentation

If you travel there enjoy the garden around the shore of Balaton lake. It is amazing

    Nothing.

The staff are really welcoming & helpful. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The spa at the top of hotel is great various steam and sauna rooms, large hottub. Masseurs a call away. Great bar downstairs. Even hairdressers & nail bar on site. Best ever pedicure! 2nd visit - there will be a third!

Spa is quite nice, but not all the saunas were working. Do tell at the reception desk that you're going to use the sauna, so they prepare it for you and you get the proper temperature.

Location, friendly english speaking staff, spa.

I think this hotel provides excellent value for money for the facilities that are available. I had a very spacious double room with a balcony and good bathroom facilities. The staff helped me safely store my bicycle and were very friendly throughout the stay.

The beds were horribly hard. It seemed to us that the bread at breakfast was one day old. Therefore we left a day earlier than planned and no one was even intetesed in the reason for it.

It was great to have a spa-area around in the hotel!

No restaurants which serve food in the evening. The cafe with drinks downstairs works only till 23:00. Keep in mind that the closest supermarket is 15 minutes walk (you can find it on googlemap)

Nice free spa facilities (really loved saunas), public Balaton beach and tennis court. Heviz is just 15 minutes on bus. There is a beautiful city park right on front of the hotel.

Great location midway between city and beach areas. Very helpful and friendly staff. Air conditioned rooms available for a resonable extra charge. Spa facilities on site. Very resonable cost.

Although the beds were 'tidied' every day & we had clean towels - only 2 small bath towels were provided, the room was not dusted so the dust remained untouched for the duration of our stay!! - 10 days

Location very good & the staff friendly especially the bar staff in the Audrey's Lounge Bar.

The room was rather simple for this price. The bathroom was very small and the shower didn't have a curtain so after taking a shower the floor was all wet.

If you are in Keszthely to enjoy the beach, the hotel is only 5 min walk from it.

huge pillows but receptionist did get me a flatter one when I asked. I had no idea how to get jacuzzi to work , not enough power points. bathroom very dark (only one bulb, ) could only use shower as hand held as when hung up it could only be directed to wall , bedside lamps are black so too dark to read by.

    clean, breakfast included,
