To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaHotel is located behind Buda Hill. Buda Castle, the Fisherman Bastion and Mathias Church are walking distance. Also good supermarkets around for snacks, Metro Red Line close, both within 100 meters.

Czech RepublicLights in the bathroom were way too bright and practically blinding. The bed was too soft for me but that is a common feature based on my habits. The window can be opened only for the ventilation in the upper part, still, I can see the reasons. Anyway, I like to have direct contact with the City.
There was a possibility to decline everyday cleaning of the room to lower the environmental burden. The food in the restaurant as well as the wine were superb. There was a guitar in the lobby that anybody knowing to play may use.

RomaniaThe bathroom is a bit too small. The staff wasn’t very friendly, especially at the restaurant. At breakfast, although there were spare tables, they didn’t clean them after guest were leaving, so we, as a family of three, didn’t have space. We had to ask several employees to clean a table for us. The restaurant has very few options for dinner. They charged us more than the prices indicated in the menu. The door locker had a problem and it didn’t open until multiple trying. The cleaning staff that we asked for help didn’t speak English at all.
Very good location, the room was very nice and clean, also modern.

United KingdomHotel was a little further than I had hoped for the city centre but it is walkable and also using the Bolt taxi app you can get very cheap taxis that mean you just pay automatically via the app. It was great for using for the whole trip.
Room was well appointed with black-out curtains - very quiet. Shower etc great and staff helped on arrival with my request for a high room. Lots of choice for breakfast.
