Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

1. I'm afraid the breakfast service level should be improved to match the hotel rating. The space is just too small for the guest number, which makes the dining environment extremely noisy, chaotic and unpleasant. Besides that, the price is just too high for the food quality with such narrow options and long queues during rush hour. Moreover, the breakfast staff are quite unprofessional, who were busy with chatting with each other and imitating maybe any languages they found funny so as to have fun for their day. I'm a bit concerned about how they clean/tidy the tables... That's why we had breakfast only once during our 4-day's stay. 2. Please consider adding one more additional socket next to the bed. With only one socket for 2 separate beds was quite inconvenient.
1. The hotel has a great location, which is exactly opposite to the national parliament. Additionally with easy access to the Metro station and supermarkets/Cafés. 2. The beds and pillows are super comfortable, which belongs to one of the best I had during the last few years (as a frequent traveler in Europe) 3. The reception staff are nice and helpful to meet our requirements. Had to change our room once due to the noise from the main street behind, the staff were quite willing to help and offered us a quick option. Highly appreciated.

Modern and clean, very friendly and helpful staff, easy check in and check out. Breakfast was variety and nice.
Excellent location, very connivence to tram or metro station, also walking distance to Fishman’s Bastion, Buda Castle, Danube River cruise and supermarket. Thought near the main street but very quiet as no pub near around, suitable for family with kids.

The hotel menu for meals could be expanded and improved. A bit limited in my point of view.
The location is perfect, very close to the main places to visit in Budapest. The view from the front of the hotel to the parliament is incredible (have in mind that the parliament is in the other side of the Danube river, so it requires some walking). The metro is also very close. The rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very professional and friendly.

It's important to mention that parking comes with a fee of 16 euros per day. Additionally, one of the rooms had an awkwardly designed shower, fixed in place and lacking flexibility
The front desk staff were incredibly polite, adding a touch of warmth to my arrival experience. The room boasted spectacular views, especially in the evening when the Parliament building lit up, making it a prime choice for anyone seeking memorable cityscape vistas. Its close proximity to public transportation was also a definite plus.

I stayed in a room with riverside view. My sole purpose was to see the view. The price is a bit overrated for the value of the room itself, but if you have the same purpose as mine, this room will get it achieved.

Sofa bed was broken, so kids weren't very comfortable. Shower gel in shower room was not filled through the stay, so for the last 2 days we had to use from the ones in the sink basin. Toilet paper was not replaced automatically when it ran out.
