Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Airconditioner. The room's aircondition was not functioning and they gave us a portable one. For one bed it was ok but it did not reach the other bed and as it was a heatwave, we had to sleep all 4 in one bed
location was perfect. The tram/metro just accross the road. There is a supermarket exactly next to the hotel. It was very clean. Staff was really friendly and helpful

The steepness of the climb to the sleeping loft. The street entrance is offputting in that you enter through a black iron gate and go through a nondescript inner courtyard before going up by elevator or stairs to the entrance. The layout is I believe rather typical of its Erzsebetvaros neighborhood, probably of Pest as a whole. A certain amount of agility is required of anyone who does stay there.
The location is excellent. A kind helpful staff served a very adequate breakfast and answer questions about the locale. My room was double-decker in that I had to go up a steep staircase to reach the sleeping loft of my very high ceilinged room. I could not stand up straight in the sleeping loft part and I am only five foot eight. But the private bathroom was up to date. I may or may not stay there again but I was pleasantly surprised by my overnight there.

The only thing was a fly that was in the room!, but that was not annoying for me

Noise from drinking bar patrons and blaring police and ambulance sirens passing by through the night. Low headroom of bed up on loft

The design of bed room not comfortable
Bed space is above the washroom and Ac was not working properly so it was hot and every time you have to use stairs for washroom

The shower didn't have the shower curtain,maybe it has been fixed by now,but it was hard to take a bath without that.
The place was tidy,the home decoration were cool,the staff was nice and helpful, this is a superlative quality for the price paid.

Those mattresses in the room needs to be updated soon. They look filthy but they are clean. I would stay there again but u get what u pay for.
Loved it, but its in a boulevard so its busy and bars are open 24/7 - Its great but its not the Hotel Sissy fault about the noise on the street. They have a great youtube setup

Unfortunatelly the air conditioner didn't work and the room was hot. The bedding was wrinkled.
The room and the bathroom was pretty, spacious and clean. The staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is in the city centre, close to everything but my room was quiet despite the noisy traffic.

Only one seat in the living space nowhere to eat or sit and chill, also no coffee or bottled water or anything in the room on arrival, it could also do with some decoration or something as it's a big empty room

I really enjoyed staying here. The location is amazing and you can easily get everywhere by foot or by tram, the station is right in front of the hotel. The room was clean and decent. I would probably change the sheets of the bed and the pillows because they were a little worn out. The staff is really friendly also. For the super picky ones I would consider the idea of staying here or not because of the traffic noise. I wasn't annoyed by it because I knew what I was getting myself into, that's why I advise everyone to check the location first before leaving bad reviews over this topic. It's not the hotel's fault.

Can be more clean - previous guest's hair on the floors. Bad pillows. Bed on mezonet floor, not very clear from the description (the ceiling obviously remembers many hits from people's heads :D). Also some guests were very loud and awoke us when they come late (the walls are not very thick).
Nice staff. We arrived a bit early but there was not a problem to do the check in. The location is very good. Good value for the money.
