Basic room, nice location next to market and a short walk to Main Street where it’s easy to find a meal. The staff make this hotel … they are so helpful in many ways (finding transportation, helping with SIM card, etc.) Family and off duty staff acted as guide for our excursions!

The many good views you can have over that hill (Narwastu hill) of Tomohon city and Lokon mountain. The gardens well maintained amd allow you to a small walk into some different path. The staff are very kind and are listening and careful to your different needs. The food from the restaurant is very great.

We were so lucky to find this place. The location was stunning with beautiful views from all of the rooms. The breakfast was delicious, we even had an evening meal there, which was fabulous. The staff were super friendly and gave us heaps of great information on the area and the best things to see and do. The room was stunning with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I would return here in a heartbeat.

By far the best room I had in Minahassa. No exaggeration is all the positive reviews you are reading. Beautiful, quiet surroundings; beautiful view; great room; clean, shared bathroom (with just 1 other room); lovely owner and nice breakfast. Highly recommended!

The villa is a wonderful home that is a great change from the coast in indonesia. This villa is open with beautiful views and a cool breeze and is great for relaxing and sleeping without air conditioning! a nice change after a week of 40c! it was nice to stay in the middle of an active farming community - with many crops, tractors and busy farmers..and lots of birds and nature too!

Wawowow is a very special place. But it’s not for everyone. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

    We stayed four nights in one of the two beautiful bungalows in the lovely garden of Jan‘s family home. Great hosts, clean and comfortable bungalows (western standard, most comfortable bed we have had in months!), delicious breakfast, Lokon volcano view, and fury friends (only outside the buildings) make this a perfect place to stay in Tomohon. Jan is happy to help you plan your trips / excursions and also drive you to sites, or you can rent a scooter from him.

    The resort consists of various well-equiped bungalows, surrounded by jungle flora. We stayed a whole week in bungalow no.9, which has a beautiful view on Mount Lokon. The owner Arno, who is quickly becoming a local celebrity, is super helpful and determined to make you fall in love with the region. A great base camp to explore Tomohon and its surroundings. The convivial bar/resto also has some adorable furry companions.

    Spacious room. In-house restaurant was convenient Friendly and helpful staff. Septian assisted with phone calls to my next accommodation to sort out an error in my booking. Michael took us on a half-day tour of Manado at short notice Good recommendation of restaurants for authentic Sulawesi cuisine, namely Tanaraya in Tomohon and Tuna House in Manado.

    One of the people working for the hotel (the owner?) helped a lot with tips on things to do in the area, ferry to the Togean islands and transportation. The staff in general was friendly. Rooms are big, i got a free upgrade.
