this property does not have a front desk, and once the staff are off duty, there is no one available to assist with any issues. One evening, there was no hot water for showering, we contact property manager , but no anyone came to resolve the issue.until next day .Additionally, there was no hairdryer available, and I couldn’t find anyone to ask for one. Overall, this caused quite a bit of inconvenience during my stay.

We loved the place, very silent, very close to the center of ubud. The room is very big and the bathroom too. And the staff is really kind but maybe he would need a little help because he do everything by himself.

Just some thing to know: The wifi doesn’t really work, and the water from the shower is really hot, and difficult to regulate. A little bit of humidity in the room

The location is great: in the heart of Ubud but tucked away in a tiny quiet ally. The room is simple but big and clean and has PLUGS on each side of the bed (so practical for charging and easy access). The breakfast is also simple but good. The bed was comfortable and it’s so quiet it’s amazing!

We came on time for check in but waited one hour for the room to be ready. The wifi was not really good.

The AC stopped working on day 2. When the staff came to check it later, their response was that it was working and that I was pressing the wrong button. I am sorry but I know what an “on/off” button looks like and even the guy from the restaurant who was supposed to help me couldn’t figure it out, so NO, the two of us were NOT pressing the wrong button. Breakfast was okay, but having it earlier than the official start time (which is 8am) was like asking for the moon. 8 am is super late if you want to go on an early hike or leave early for a day trip! I had to beg for early breakfast every single day. Eventually the staff at the adjacent restaurant prepared it for me the evening before. The reviews said this was a quiet place. Yes and no. It is really peaceful at night so you get a good night’s sleep… but! this is considering you don’t want to go to bed early (before 10pm or so) - which I did as I was getting up at 5am to go hiking or go visit places before the crowds get in. There is an adjacent restaurant to the bungalows with live music until around 10pm(?) so no silence before then. It would have been nice to have a water refilling station. The 2 tiny bottles a day are a joke. I originally booked a room for 5days, but decided to leave 2 days earlier because of the aforementioned struggles. I was simply not happy there. It would have been nice to get a small refund but again, the staff has simply no consideration of things like this.

Great stay :). Clean and spacious room and balcony and tucked away from the main street but close to everything. The staff were super helpful. They helped with tours and onward travel. Recommended.

I stayed two nights in one of the Double Rooms with Garden View at Alit Bungalow and loved it! The room was spacious, very clean, had a lovely/modern interior and a nice terrace facing the garden and pool. The staff was very friendly/helpful and I absolutely loved the central location. Situated in the heart of Ubut but tucked away in an alley, it was very quiet at night and offered a nice oasis far from the buzzing roads of Ubud. I never ate at the restaurant, but the breakfast was simple and yummy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and can only recommend this place! 10/10, I would def stay there again!

Affordable, clean, hidden location so make take sometime to locate initially, Desmond was a great host.

Fabulous place in the heart of Ubud. Walking distance to everything that you need. Lovely room with good shower and air con. Fabulous pool area too. As always such lovely people who will help you with anything. Would highly recommend. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Very nice quiet hotel with a really good clean pool. Desmond was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was really nice although the bathroom didn’t have sealed windows so a couple of lizards got inside. Other than that it was perfect.

The location

This place was dirty. Simple as. There were insects everywhere, on the walls, on the bed, all over the floor. The shower was slippy as it had a layer of grime on the base. My feet were black with dirt from walking around in the first 2 minutes barefoot when I got there. The air condition leaked continuously while I was there onto the floor, and it spat water out onto one side of the bed, meaning I had to go moving furniture to stay dry.

We stayed 6 nights here and couldn’t fault a thing. The location is very good being right in the centre of Ubud but still quiet due to it being off the Main Street. The pool was really nice and the rooms were amazing for the price. If I were to stay in Ubud again I would want to stay here! Also Desmon, the staff member at Alit was AMAZING he was so welcoming, made great banana pancakes, and would ask you whether you needed anything all the time. Only things I can comment on was that the WiFi wasn’t the best and an extra bed side table would have been nice but that is not something that hinders the place - I would 100% stay again.

One of the best stays I’ve had — mainly because of the beautiful ambience, perfect location, and incredibly helpful staff. Despite being very close to the bar and main road, the place is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, which made it super relaxing. The room is super spacious, as is the bathroom. I especially loved the garden view and the pool — very calming and private. Since the villa only has a few rooms, it never felt crowded, which added to the charm. Special shoutout to the staff — he prepared everything by himself and truly deserves all the credit for making the stay so enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape in a great location!

There’s no TV or bathtub (even though there’s plenty of space for one), everything else was just great.

Gorgeous property in Ubud! The room and bathroom were both very big, large balcony as well! Provided with bug spray and water bottles which were a really nice touch!

Perfect location, big clean and comfortable room and bathroom, lovely garden with pool which was very calm even though right in the center of Ubud. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff.

- the wifi was really bad, it didn’t seem to reach where our room was located so had to use up phone data - the shower was hard to get at a good temperature, either lukewarm or roasting hot - barely any plug sockets around the room - 2 bed side tables would be useful

Very close to central of town, stayed one night could have stayed more . Staff very generous and helpful. Rooms are massive, with big balconies. Bar, restaurant, live music next door however couldn’t hear in room. Cheap and comfortable in central location.

There is no reception, no entry doors to the building with the rooms, room and balcony doors were closing really bad, sheets were dirty and blanket was not dressed. As a solo traveler I did not felt safe, not at all. I left four days before check out. They don't want to negotiate about refund. It is not worth the money.
