Felt a little restricted having to use the shuttle every time to go to the restaurant or reception, although this DID WORK very well

The room did not have a mosquito net above the bed, i missed that. Furthermore you should just be aware of the fact that this is an old/old fashioned hotel, which is fine, it is well kept, but it is not modern.

The staff which was very attentive and helpful. Spacious rooms with very good beds. Very clean. Gorgeous swimming pool. Very quiet location in the jungle, away from the dust and dirty streets of Ubud. Great breakfast and lunch at the restaurant of the hotel.

If there is yoga class on every morning, that would have been great.

The food in the restaurant was exceptional. I wish I would stay longer to try all the food on the menu.

    Everything was amazing!

The resort is located at the edge of a forest but has everything you can ask for a 5-star restaurant with delicious food, pool, spa, gym. and the staff were simply amazing. The room was spacious and clean, had a superb view and the staff was amazing, always helpful and (very surprising) they made sure to remember our names. The WhatsApp chat option was unbelievable as we could message staff for everything we needed.

The location of the villa was quite isolated. You could not walk out of the villa and go for a walk as there was nothing to see or do close by. So unless you wanted to pay for a taxi and take a 20-30 minute ride you are unlikely to get out of the resort. Some might see this as a positive as it means the resort is quiet and you truly can relax and enjoy all the facilities

This was in my opinion the best resort I have ever stayed in. Our villa was exceptional, the whole resort was quiet and relaxing. The Spa was fantastic and the food was amazing.

We didn’t really know where everything was in the resort when we arrived and what there was but there was very little negatives.

The staff were amazing and they knew your name and were always willing to go above and beyond for you. The WhatsApp system really works so when you need anything you can message staff and they come straight away. We also got upgraded for our anniversary which was really special to us!

Bit far off if you want to visit Ubud. The floor in the room was made of stone/marble and very cold and also made the room feel clinical. No place to lay down inside other then the bed, only chairs.

Awesome resort at the edge of the jungle. Beautiflul setup. Even saw monkeys running around. Staff is very helpful and kind. Superb service. Spacious room and awesome view from the bath.

Given the hotel is so far out of town it would have been useful to have another shuttle slightly later in the evening, as 4pm is quite early. Some of the hotel is looking very aged and could do with upgrading (the gym).

The staff were fantastic, the food was delicious, every need was catered for. It was very convenient to use WhatsApp to communicate with reception/room service.

The mattress covers on the pool lounges Get very hot in the sun - not comfortable to lie on, ouch. Unless you take the shuttle ( only two a day) into Ubud, there’s really no dining option apart from the resort itself.

Lovely restaurant with expansive views. Very good breakfast. Two large pools serving the hotel rooms. Extensive landscaped grounds - but very hilly so the golf buggies certainly come in handy. Charming and helpful staff.

The room is a bit old and it smells mouldy. The bathroom is very humid, the floor feels like it’s always wet.

The location is amazing, just in the middle of the jungle. The room is spacious and the pool is breathtaking. But the best thing about this place is the staff, they’re so lovely they make you feel like you never wanna leave that place.

The resort is located far from the shopping area of Ubud. There is only 2 free shuttles to Ubud n 1 return trip per day. But not an issue if u just want a relaxing stay at the resort as there are activities organised by the resort.

Excellent service from front office to staff at the restaurant. Nice ambience and fresh air . The food from the restaurant is very delicious esp the BBQ pork ribs .

    - For some being that far from Ubud could be an issue but we didn’t mind at all! The hotel provided free shuttles twice a day anyway.

    - Private villas are incredible with amazing outlook over the jungle, comfortable beds and large bathrooms, really great value -Staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable about the area and very responsive to our needs - The suggested activities on the timetable were great! The morning walking tour of the village and rice fields was a lovely way to start our day. - Payangan is actually a little bit out of Ubud but we liked it that way as it was quiet and peaceful - The restaurant food was the best we had in Bali and we were lucky enough to catch one of the cultural dances - The spa was also a real treat with reasonable prices and an incredible view
