The stay was exceptional and the staff was incredibly helpful. Every request we made was met and they were a great help finding our way around!

The only thing that would be useful are like shuttles to Kuta Center or beaches but other than that they also offer scooters for rent for incredibly reasonable prices.

Awesome villa, clean, spacious , excellent place to relax and only 3-4 mins scooter ride back to Kuta

This is such a luxurious resort that is well executed with all of the trimmings. The gardens are beautiful and there are constantly staff sweeping the leaves or making sure the resort is spotless. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable, the pool is massive and not busy as the resort has lots of villas with private pools. There are sun loungers by the main pool which is a nice way to spend time. The resort provides drinking water as needed. Communication with staff is done via a WhatsApp group, you can order from the resort menu, organise laundry via WhatsApp, most communication with the staff is done this way and they are very responsive. If the motorbikes are racing you can hear the motorGP track down the road, it's not that bothersome and we went and checked it out one day as it was free entry - quite a cook experience. The resort is about a 4 minute scooter ride from the main strip of restaurants, it is worth hiring a scooter which can be done via the hotel. It's not within walking distance of the main streets in Kuta - especially due to the heat We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Batatu Resort and will definitely be back!

The house is stunning, staff is incredibly welcoming and available. We loved the fact that you could rent scooters directly with them, reserve literally anything you want (such as breakfast delivery to tour room) via group chat on Whatsapp. They were super fast in responding to any query, we really felt taken care of.

The best stay ever. The most friendly staff. Helped to plan our 3 days in Lombok with private taxi service at a reasonable price. Food was amazing we ended up eating most our food at the resort. The pool was relaxing and felt like you were tucked out the way of the busy town of Kuta.

I booked for 1 night for the classic bungalow and the staff kindly upgraded us ( it’s based on the availability) , all the staff were very kind always here for you if you need anything , the room was perfect , beautiful and clean.

Very nice resort, beautiful architecture (plenty of wood, we really loved it!) and lovely pool inside our villa. Breakfast was very good and variable and the staff - always smiling - has been incredibly well organized and attentive to every kind of request from our side made via Whatsapp. Moreover they offer a shuttle service pratically to every point of interest in Lombok, very helpful, we really appreciated it.

The position is a bit decentralized but it's really a minor issue, it can be easily solved by their shuttle service to Kuta center and elsewhere.

What did we like about the property? I’m not sure there’s enough space to write enough positive feedback so I’ll just the best I can. . The staff are friendly & incredibly responsive and respectful . The shower pressure is spot on . The entire villa is perfectly clean . Everything is communicated via WhatsApp so there’s nothing lost in translation . The villa is modern and absolutely every aspect has been thought of . The bed is comfortable . First time I’ve ever seen an actual light doona on the bed instead of having tight sheets on which I absolutely loved . The sunken lounge 🙌🏼 . Spacious room . Transport to the main town off Kuta, 55,000 one way if you don’t want to hire a scooter. We actually walked into town twice - approximately 40 minutes flat walk . We spent three nights here and didn’t want to leave. In all our travels over the years this villa was absolutely at the very top of our accommodation venues if not the best . Love love loved it

Not a thing

Wow, Batatu Resort far exceeded my expectations. It is a lovely setting of lots of villas with a central pool, and some of the villas had their own private pool. We had a villa with a pool and the setting was perfect and it was a perfect space to entertain or chill during the day.

The only negative is that the resort is slightly out of Kuta main town, and requires a driver to get to and from. There is no reliable Grab or Gojek on Lombok so we had to rely on the drivers at the resort (which sometimes were a bit delayed). As such, we recommend if you stay here you rent a scooter - which we did and it changed our experience!

Very friendly staff, delicious food, communication with whatsapp

I was charged for a flat tire, despite the fact that the tire had almost no tread and deflated overnight. I consider this to be unjust. It is very loud during the day.

Great location only 5 min drive out of town, which was lovely to escape the hustle and bustle at the end of the day. We have a villa suite and it was big, clean and luxurious. Extra points that they upgraded us for free.

The Hotel was great. Super clean, very nice rooms. It is located in a nice quieter location but still super close to kuta center (8min by bike). The service is good, they create a whatsapp group for each room with all the staff, so whenever you need something like breakfast, laundry, transport etc. you can just send a message & they take care of it immediately. This was super efficient. There is no actual restaurant, but a seating area & you order via whatsapp. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, which was good but not greaat. But would definitely stay here again! Great choice when coming to Kuta!
