Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaWe booked as the description led us to believe that dinner was available but it wasn't. Fortunately it was only a 5 minute walk to several restaurants.
The room was lovely and the gardens very beautiful with fish ponds. A little oasis in the city. Well located for going out in the evening for dinner.

GermanyThe vegetarian parts of the breakfast were gone too quickly - so nice but not always enough of it for all the guests. Otherwise NOTHING!
Great set-up, lovely inner courtyard with a lovely tropical but cooling pool area. Lovely local Indonesian style breakfast with an option of full English, overall a very recommendable place. Staff superb and very attuned to the guests requirements.

GermanyThe water pressure in the shower was really very low, especially when trying to take a warm shower it was more like a drizzle - not a problem unless you have long hair you want to wash^^
Everything was good, clean, comfortable Staff extremely friendly and attentive

NetherlandsDuta Boutique Villa is an oasis in the middel of Yogyakarta. You're close to the main tourist center with a lot of nice bars and restaurants. So, lot of excitement, but you don't notice it. Very nice rooms in a garden with a lot of ponds, waterfalls and fountains. The rooms are spacious, clean and really nice. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is simple but good.

NetherlandsRooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated and we only used the breakfast one day went out for the other days.
Great service, nice and spacious rooms and beautiful pool. The team is very friendly and since the hotel is not too big they know all guests. Daily evening snack was a very nice gesture. The location is perfect, a small walk to lots of bars and restaurants and some shops.

United KingdomBathroom fixtures old and very tired and water stained. Such a large bathroom would be better as a stylish wet room with walk-in glass shower screen. The staff mistakenly placed the afternoon sweet treat uncovered in our room while we were out and by the time we returned a whole host of crawlies were swarming. Thankfully some bug spray and super efficient and attentive staff brought everything up to scratch - spit spot - and so no problem for us.
Superb central location close to Prawirotaman St with great restaurants and nightlife and Keraton city with Sultan Palace. Super spacious deluxe room with extremely clean & comfortable bed, simple furnishings and lovely relaxing balcony ideal for lounging. Secluded tropical garden with perfect temperature pool was paradise. Friendly, welcoming, courteous and super helpful staff made our stay relaxing and rejuvenating, and the gratis afternoon savoury/sweet snacks were delicious!

AustraliaI only had breakfast on two occasions, it was quite average. The omelettes were good, freshly made. Other foods just ok - nothing to write home about. Coffee watery.
Friendly staff, very lovely surrpundings - an oasis! The gardens are beautifully maintained, pool is very pleasant. Large room - Very good value for money. Each afternoon, a small cake was brought to the door or left in the room - that was a nice touch!

BelgiumAC in our room worked but not very strongly. Nights were rather warm. The bathroom is a little dated but it's clean and functional.
Great hotel, little peace haven to come home to after exploring. It's a great oasis, staff is always working on taking care of the beautiful grounds. You get a little snack/pastry each day. The pools are fun and breakfast is a peaceful enjoyable moment.

AustraliaWe booked via booking.com for five people (2 adults, three choldren) over two rooms, but when we arrived were asked to pay an additional fee for a fold-pit bed for one of the kids. One of the rooms also didn't include breakfast, despite us booking one transaction on booking.com. it was weird that we weren't given the (seemingly available for the duration of our stay) adjoining room to one of our rooms rather than be separated.
The grounds of the accom were beautiful, we loved the fruit trees and garden. The water features and pool were great. The rooms looked nice and were pretty comfortable, the neighbourhood was nice and seemed pretty authentic Indonesia.

IndonesiaThe air condition is not that cold. In our last day, the resto staff asked us to pay the breakfast, which was already included in the package that we paid earlier. They gave us only 1 coupon for the whole 2 days, I gave it to the resto staff on the 2nd day when we had breakfast. But they didn’t return it. So I had to argue a bit about it and finally they said it was their mistake. it should not be happening if the staff know about the regulation if we stayed 3D,2N it means we got 2x breakfast, which earlier she said only 1x..
The property is a rare gem in the heart of Jogja. With great settings of small houses, pool, pond and garden. The room is huge! Bed is so comfy, and bath room was also spasious. would love to stay here again next time.

AustraliaNot much that we don't like. The breakfast selection was ordinary, but lovely omelettes noodle soup and pancakes could be made to order and were all tasty.
A stunning oasis, so close to the city and fabulous eateries. Lovely gardens, water features and a tropical pool were so welcome after a day out sightseeing.

NetherlandsIt was rather expensive for Yogyakarta. It was a big room with sofa rather than a suite.
The pool was literally a few steps from our room. The rooms are in individual buildings facing a quiet pool area surrounded by trees. Very tranquil.
