The outdoor shower was at the back of the villa, so we had to go thru the room to use it? it would have been so much better next to the pool. The bedroom doors were difficult to open and close. These were only minor issues and didn’t really affect how our stay went.

We travelled as two couples and had the two bedroom villa with private pool. It was fantastic -spacious and clean. Each morning the staff cooked us breakfast (at whatever time we asked for) in our own villa. The breakfast included choices of eggs and bacon with fresh fruits, juice, bread/toast, croissants and tea/coffee * or of the above. We were a short stroll to shops and restaurants, and just a few minutes walk (through one of the other hotels) to Sanur Beach and LOTS more shops and restaurants.

Our villa was amazing, we were very happy. The interior design was beautiful, we especially loved bathrooms. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was superb - tucked away from the noise and loud streets. Cafes and shops a walk away. We definitely recommend Ellora Villa!

the cushions were too high and stiff, difficult to keep the mosquitoes out (mosquito net only in.one room. I strongly suggest to NOT USE PLASTIC BOTTLES but only provide the refillable large water container. (fellow future guests reading this review: please help reminding the property to further reduce plastic). Also, please DO NOT USE ONE WAY shower gel and shampoo plastic containers! All good resorts in Bali already use more sustainable alternatives!

So quiet! This was such a big highlight, as the villa is tucked away down a long alley. Excellent location in Sanur, private access through another hotel to the beach, very comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful pool and great kitchen

Everything. Room was fantastic. Big and spacious with great facilities. Great area of Sanur while being far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing when you got back to your room. Staff were amazing, especially Tika. Her kind, helpful and friendly face was always a pleasure to see. Nothing was ever an issue. Would definitely recommend this place and would 100% stay here again.

I had some trouble with the wifi, but this may have been due more to my own device settings. It would have been good if the TV was bigger but there were so many nice things to do round about, including using my private pool and sitting outside under the fan reading that I only used the TV once in 11 days.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and respectful. They were always available to answer any questions and give advice. The location was great being tucked away down the end of the lane. It gave some peace and quiet from the busy main street. Only a short walk to the beach and a secure place to park my scooter very close to my villa. I also liked that there were very few, if any, bugs in my room and yard. Close to lots of great choices for eating breakfast through to dinner from 6am onwards.

~ The bed mattress is hard and lumpy. New king size beds would be a serious improvement! Simple topper pads for the existing queen beds would also help big time. ~ There are 2 turtles kept in a concrete bunker style 'pond' in our villa. It was very distressing watching them trying to climb out and beg for food. It's very, very, very cruel to keep any animal in a prison like that. ~ A very LOUD family in a neighbouring villa had a couple of small kids who constantly had tantrums or cried at 100 decibels or shouted. The staff had no control over this, though they did ask the people to be a bit quieter. The villas would benefit from having a 'no kids under 10 years' policy!

the villa is just wonderful! Except for the bed, everything was extremely comfortable. The entire place is very well maintained and sparkling clean throughout. We loved the size of the pool and how clean it was. The water temperature was perfect and it was a good size and nice and deep. The outdoor living area was so comfortable, with the couch having room for 2 people to both lie down, the dining table, the good cooking facilities, the full size and cold fridge, the microwave, the ceiling fan and the extra toilet in addition to the bathroom. The 2 sun loungers were very comfortable and a sun umbrella. Inside, the room was very, very spacious and we enjoyed the indoor lounge as well. I loved having the walk in wardrobe behind the bed so our messy stuff was hidden away from our view. The bathroom is huge with separate shower, separate toilet and a beautiful marble bathtub. The daily house keeping was excellent and the standard of cleaning is fabulous. The staff were all lovely and friendly and we enjoyed a few good conversations with the lovely reception lady, Tika (I hope I spelt it correctly). Location is good - very close to plenty of shops and restaurants but in a quiet lane away from the road. Access to the beach was easy, about 5 - 7 minutes walk via the locked gate of their sister villas over the road. We've stayed in 5 other villas over the last 5 weeks and this was absolutely the BEST! We will definitely come again, provided we can be sure no families with screaming kids would be staying at the same time. :-)

no mosquito net around the bed and the doors have gaps - on my last night I woke up with 12 bites all over my body. pool was great but it could do with a clean and has small little water fountains next to the pool which wasn’t working and looked like maggots were in there
