We really liked Jayapura and the hotel is in a very central and convenient location. Rooms are big, clean, and comfortable.

For a Mercure the local management standards were poor: TV signal not clear (antenna problem) and only one small and poor quality towel provided. When I complained the staff resolved the issues (though TV image still poor) but these things are basic if the housekeeping routine is properly checked. Also they had run out of many local dishes at breakfast more than half an hour before service ended. Again clearly no local management discipline checking and refilling.

The room was good and bathroom likewise - just what I would expect from the Mercure brand. Front desk staff very helpful, though over attentive “service” by other lobby staff became quickly irritating. Very good location for good restaurants and especially good coffee shop near the mosque.

The second night of my stay, they did fogging at 10.30 pm, that caused me trouble to breath because the fumes got into my room. The staff did nothing when being informed that i was in the trouble because of the fogging.The staffs are not properly trained to handle the emergency. I should ask them to take me to the hospital. Other than that, the hotel is great.

We had booked our transfer from the airport to the hotel, but the taxi never arrived. However, this might be due to the delay of our arrival due to the weather conditions.

Wifi wasn't up to standard. About 40 minutes from the airport, not suitable as a one night stopover. Jayapura is not a particularly nice place unless you have business there. Couldn't fault the hotel otherwise

Quality hotel with all the trimmings you would expect at this level. Reception was quick and professional. The room was modern and spacious. In particular I liked the furniture, just comfortable and not for show. Breakfast was simply amazing, you wouldn't get a buffet lunch as good, such was the variety.

Didn’t like that the towels were old and need replacement. I didn’t enjoy the massage coz the therapist kept talking throughout the whole session and burping every now and then. Very distrusting… I was not aware that the massage is done by room service abs got the shock of my life.

The friendly staff and the breakfast.. and most conveniently was the location. The hotel is situated right opposite the night markets.

Last minute booking, stayed over night, didn’t provide hand soap, shower was not power powerful, wasn’t that hot(rather warm), mould was visible around the sink.

Couldn’t say much a part from warm and smile front desk staffs.

My booking is breakfast included but was told at the hotel that my booking is breakfast excluded and i have to pay extra for the breakfast. My room totally can't access to the wifi with the notification "network access denied". The IT personnel was also unable to solve the problem and i was force to always sit at the lobby for the internet.

The room was of an excellent quality, clean, and neat. Just a perfect setting. The staff was knowledgeable and reliable. Promises made for held. I asked for a taxi at 5:30 in the morning, and it was there right on time. I am very pleased with the professional attitude of the house
