Completely minor and didn’t affect the holiday at all but, if the doors have thumb turn to lock the door inside, rather than a key, I could have given the key to my son so he could get in without me having to be woken up to get out of bed.

The hotel is located on a hill with no sidewalk. I do not recommend walking there – take a taxi or book a transfer at the hotel.

The hotel is a little out of the town so you need to get taxis in & out if you want to go in. We booked our tours with transfers (highly recommend doing this) & relaxed in the pool with dinner in the evening. The bedrooms are not soundproofed so you can hear other guests, morning prayers etc maybe something to be mindful of if you’re a light sleeper but it didn’t bother us!

The property is ideally located, just 5 minutes by car from the port. Its main asset is the presence of an on-site restaurant, which is a considerable advantage given the lack of restaurants on Nusa Penida. You are guaranteed to enjoy delicious meals at the hotel.

If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. There is no soundproofing. You wake up to the staff talking loudly, if there are louder guests, you can't fall asleep at all until you ask them to. Also, at 4AM, their morning anthem plays, which you can hear very well.

We have never experienced such thorough cleaning. While you are eating breakfast, the staff is already cleaning your room. And so every day - this is both a plus and a minus, because if you come back from breakfast before they finish, you have to sit outside and wait. It's cool that there is a restaurant and a pool next door, so you can calmly enjoy an evening sitting in a beautiful location. The view from the pool is amazing, and the location itself is very good to reach everything you are interested in quickly by scooter.

The hotel was nice and clean, comfortable bed, quiet lovely pool area. The main highlight of our stay was the exceptional team that work at the hotel. They were so attentive to us during our stay. We were ill for one of the days and couldn’t leave the room, one of the lovely ladies working at the hotel took a trip to the pharmacy for us out of the goodness of her own heart, the staff made us food that wasn’t on the menu as we could only eat plain and checked in on us throughout the day. The whole time we were so pleased with how accommodating each staff member was to our needs and requests. Thank you so much!

Amazing stay! Staff were so friendly. The pillows and the beds were so comfortable and clean. Room was nice and cold. Pool was fantastic. There is a manure smell sometimes and coffee is not espresso. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The room we had was right over the pool and has a little grass plot to little sun bath. Unfortunately the weather didn’t support our plan for that day 😆 they also helped us to get umbrellas and when we had questions, the staff were so polite, nice and very helpful 😊

Great hotel with clean rooms, comfortable bed, a nice pool with a beautiful view. The breakfast was good, and the staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help with any requests. Additionally, having a laundry service and scooter rental nearby was very convenient.

The bathroom is basically a sauna because it has 2 windows which are slightly open. The doors are not soundproofed so we woke up at 4am because of a pray nearby which was at least 30 minutes long. The pool is warm.

The outside area was nice and the rooms were comfortable. We were on the 1st floor and we had a very nice sea view. The pool area was nice but the water was warm.

Everything was nice about the hotel. The looks, the location and the staff. They have their own motorbike rental and that made it so convenient. It’s close to the harbor and other sightseeing

I wasn’t entirely aware that the hotel would be up a very steep road and far more than 20 minutes by foot from the next beach. You definitely can’t walk on Nusa Penida, you need a scooter (only if you’ve driven before, they rent them at the hotel) or a driver. I also didn’t overly enjoy the very load religious chanting at 4 am but that’s not something the hotel could can change in any way and not their fault.

The staff was friendly, the food was good and the room was as advertised. We felt at home very easily.
