Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaCold BBQ dinner. Everything else was phenomenal
The BBQ buffet was a fantastic concept except the food was cold and we arrived at 7:30pm so only 30 minutes into the session, a little disheartening to receive cold food, however the service was impeccable and staff went above and beyond.

United StatesIn aisa I have become very use to having a bidet hose on the toilet and was somewhat disappointed that the room didn't have one and my partner who is from Thailand felt the same.
The breakfast was good but not exceptional. I thought the location was good and it was nice that it was away from the street and not to far from the downtown area. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was nice but because of the rain we could not use it very much.

AustraliaNothing to not like, it was perfect.
Our room was huge with a big bathroom and great shower. Always had hot water and good water pressure. The bed was massive and so comfy. Our patio overlooked the rice field and you could see the monkey forest. It was so peaceful but only a few mins walk to all the restaurants and shops. It has 2 pools with sun loungers, both great. Breakfast was good, slightly different variety every morning. We had dinner and lunch there a couple of times and the food was great. The staff were very helpful and happy. Great service.

AustraliaSlight engine noise from air conditioners and fountain pumps going 24/7. If you have your own air conditioner on it drowns out the sound.
Loved the large room, comfortable bedding, rice field outlook & friendly helpful staff.

NorwayEverything was lovely.
The staff was lovely, the room was really big. There were two pools and also a spa on site. The breakfast was good. They had a laundry service. The hotel is quite central, the Monkey forest is nearby, and you can walk to the Ubud centre and Palace. The hotel also offered a free shuttle between the hotel and Ubud centre a few times a day.

Great location. Loved that it was right next to a busy road with lots of restaurants and shops but was very quiet and the view onto the rice field was amazing. Water stations were easy to access. Staff were very helpful.

AustraliaThere was nothing that I didnt like to be honest. The rooms are a little dated but this would not deter me from staying here again
A traditional balinese hotel located in a very convenient area of Ubud, within walking distance to Coco Supermarket and The Yoga Barn. The grounds are very quiet and well maintained. The rooms are so huge, large beds which we found very comfortable. The hotel backs directly onto a beautiful rice field, which is a very rare find days! Very peaceful. The staff are absolutely lovely, very kind and go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. I love that there is a shuttle that takes you to the Ubud Art market and back throughout the day. There are 2 pools, one directly next to the restaurant and one a bit further on. We loved coming back from being out during the day and relaxing around the pool, then having some dinner. Dinner options were great, and the breakfast was fresh and equally delicious! It was easy to organise drivers for activities and they were all great! Special mention to Anom, he was a wealth of knowledge on Bali, the culture and its people. He suggested some places to go to that I had never heard of before and this was my 8th trip to Bali. He was very funny and so so helpful!

Everything. The location was right in the centre yet tucked away and quiet. The staff were the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast had so many options. I could walk everywhere but the shuttle service was super nice when it was too hot or I wanted a lift to the market.

United KingdomNone. We'd happily return.
A dreamy start to our honeymoon. Peacefully nestled among rice fields but within walking distance of central Ubud, including great restaurants, temples, and the Monkey Forest. Delicious, varied breakfast, lovely pools, and attentive staff. Our room was beautifully decorated for our honeymoon, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.

United KingdomInsane value for money - I can’t believe how much you get for how cheap this hotel is! It’s located outside of central Ubud but there are many restaurants / spa in the strip right next to the hotel. The best part is free shuttle between central Ubud and the hotel - they come pick you up as well just by messaging them where you are in town. Staff were incredibly nice, and two beautiful pools. Very well-priced spa / massage services inside the hotel as well
