Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThis was the biggest hotel I think that I have ever stayed in, I didnt like the check in, we had to wait in a lounge until we were called to a desk, I have never had that before. Not the best beach and there were buikding works going on on both sides.
Staff were good, we ate mainly in the Breeze, beach bar was was good. on 2 nights there was some live music which was great.

United KingdomThe private villa was spacious and luxurious. However, the hot water barely worked and the private pool temperature was quite cold. A few minor points that could be updated e.g. the telephone handsets in the bedrooms.
Fantastic “as good as” private beach; delightfully helpful staff; very good dinner options; a good spa and a large and fun swimming pool with a swim up bar. The staff upgraded us to a private villa and pool free of charge. A special mention to Keren, who arranged for us to extend our stay in another superb ocean view room, taking great personal care and time to arrange this for us.

CanadaNot enough orientation to the property. For example, we were not aware of the adult only area with the Elara restaurant until our last night. I think there should be a better large paper map. The Elara restaurant needs more exposure. It's so worthwhile.
The room decor The chef from Elara - amazing food and drinks and the chef was so good to come out and talk to us.

New ZealandIf you are going to Hilton the beach holiday and swim it’s a wrong place. You can’t swim in ocean because of strong currents. The water was very polluted, lots of rubbish float . The swimming pools were overcrowded and also felt like it’s only for kids.
Beautiful hotel. Lovely room. Amazing views! Buffet breakfast was exceptional! Great tennis courts. Bring your own tennis racket. You can rent a racket but they are not great.

ItalyBe sure to double-check every restaurant receipt before signing, and always keep the yellow copy. In my case, over 50% of the food and beverage bills initially had errors where the discounts included in our package were not applied. While the hotel eventually corrected everything promptly and respectfully, it still required a lot of time and effort to discover and resolve it, which was not ideal during a holiday. Another concern: we never drank tap water, not even for brushing our teeth — we used only bottled water, and ate exclusively at the hotel for seven days. Despite these precautions, both of us became sick, which raises legitimate concerns about food safety or water filtration at the resort. Regarding Elara: although it’s marketed as an “adults only” pool area, it was consistently full of children. When I asked, I was told the kids were “already 12,” which seems to be the resort’s definition of “adult.” That wouldn’t be an issue if the main pool weren’t already very family-oriented. But when you promote an exclusive space with a minimum spend requirement, the expectation is that it truly offers a quieter adult-only atmosphere.
The hotel is beautifully designed and offers spectacular views, great facilities, and overall a very relaxing atmosphere. Once you're there, you don’t really feel like leaving — it feels like an oasis of calm, especially if your priority is to rest and disconnect. The restaurants are varied and the staff is warm and professional. A special mention to Elara, the pool bar, where we spent some of our best moments. Despite some contradictions in their “adults only” policy, the setting itself is stunning and makes it very hard to leave the resort for other activities. Also, although more than half of the food and beverage bills had incorrect discounts applied at first, I truly appreciated the professional and efficient way the hotel handled it once I raised the issue. Their willingness to correct every receipt and to follow up properly shows a high level of service.

United Arab EmiratesA Stunning Cliffside Experience at Hilton, Bali (Nusa Dua) Our recent stay at the Hilton in Nusa Dua, Bali was nothing short of fabulous. What makes this resort truly special is its unique cliffside architecture — the check-in and lobby are located on the 15th floor, the topmost level, and the entire hotel cascades dramatically down the cliff from there. We stayed in a beautiful sea-facing room on the 10th floor, offering panoramic ocean views on one side and lush cliff views on the other. To reach the beach, you descend further through the resort, creating a seamless blend of natural beauty and architectural elegance. The dining options are another highlight. Paon Bali Restaurant serves authentic Indonesian cuisine in a warm, traditional setting. Elara, the Spanish restaurant, is a must-visit — with fantastic food, refreshing drinks, and spectacular views of the ocean. The poolside bars and lounges are vibrant and perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Breakfast at Hilton Nusa Dua is not to be missed. The elaborate spread caters to every taste, and as an Indian family, we especially appreciated the dedicated Indian corner. The flavors were spot on — so much so that we may have indulged a bit more than planned! A delicious and comforting start to the day. The spa experience was equally memorable — a tranquil, luxurious setting offering excellent treatments that left us feeling completely refreshed and recharged. My recommendation: If you’re visiting Bali for five days, set aside at least 1.5 to 2 days just to enjoy the hotel. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a destination designed to help you relax and reconnect. While exploring Bali’s many wonders is a must, don’t miss the chance to fully enjoy everything the Hilton has to offer. Overall: Highly recommended for families, couples, and solo travelers seeking a luxurious, scenic, and unforgettable stay in Bali.

United Arab EmiratesThe food prices are above average. No halal food could be easily found. The swimming pool needs to be upgraded. Need some work before you book so you can get familiar with the room type. Need a car if you leave the hotel area. The bathrooms had fangs.
The hotel has good facilities. The beach is small but does the work. The food venues are good. The room size is good. The bathrooms are little old, but again, they serve the purpose. The hotel has different towers, so make sure which one you need to book in. The massage service was good. Check in and check out was fast.

United Arab EmiratesYou cannot bill miscellaneous expenses to the room. Instead you have to pay immediately or need to deposit a minimum 1Million Rupiah a day for sundry expenses. Not what I expect from a 5 star resort.
