Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe air conditioning is a bit weak because the room is open to the outside but this was not an inconvenience
Very pretty and in a great location. Near the Main Street but without the noise. Close to a corner market and pharmacy. Breakfast was delicious!

AustraliaI had a very traditional style room and although beautiful, the bathroom is downstairs which is a little inconvenient if you need it in the middle of the night.
This location is great. Easy to get around central Ubud and close walking distance to Camphuan Ridge walk. The breakfast and restaurant was very good.

NetherlandsThe location is in the heart of Ubud, making it super convenient to walk to cafes, shops, and the main attractions. Everything about the stay was great, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. The breakfast was really awesome, with a variety of delicious options. Definitely a place I would recommend and return to!

Deluxe room extremely spacious which included a large patio at front that overlooked beautiful gardens & pool area. Standard room very modern at back of property. Smaller in size compared to Deluxe but extremely quiet and private. Good choice of breakfasts to suit all needs.

AustraliaWe needed to book two rooms as traveling with teenagers. Unfortunately, our rooms were far apart. The quality of one room was much lower than the other. Was initially refused to change rooms even though a room next door was available. After informing of our disappointment the second time we were then able to change rooms for our last night.
Location was brilliant being in the heart of Ubud. The pool was relief from the heat. We will return.

AustraliaWe booked and there's no cancellation. We were allocated to Honeymoon Garden said to be 5 min walk to dining area. It is more like 15 mins. We should have had shuttle explained to us on checkin. Unable to use pool because there is no steps.
The shuttle was great when available. However, we were not told about this on check in. My husband has cancer and is frail and uses a walking stick and 5 days it rained making the walk even more dangerous

LatviaThe absolute highlight of our trip. The BEST place we stayed, looks like a beautiful museum/palace. Also, the street is much quieter than others. Super cheap and nice Gauri warung nearby.

Hungary# Generally there was a big noise during the night, so sleeping was nearly not possible: - there was a reconstruction near to the hotel, and they have started at 4am...( was strange that no work at 8am) - there was a unbearable sharp noise from the water pipes - the street noise are clearly audible # There was no hairdryer in the room # Not a good choice for heavy baggages due to the pavement and the stairs to the appartment # Small cute gekkos in the bathroom 😅 For the second night we had to buy an earplug which was really helpful 🙂🙂
- breakfast was amazing - wide room and bathroom - cleaning the room - getting water every day - nice staff Unfortunately we didn't use the pool, but it looked really good
