Dear Andrew, Thank you for your review. We’d like to respond to your comments point by point: Regarding the AC: We have checked the AC in your room and found it to be working properly. However, we noticed that the temperature on the remote was set to 29°C. Please note that each room has an individual AC unit, and guests are free to adjust the temperature to their preference. It seems there was a misunderstanding on you, in how to use the remote, which may have caused the room to feel warmer than expected. Regarding your check-in time: Just like most hotels around the world, we have a standard check-in time at 2 PM and check-out time at 11 AM. Regardless of what time you arrive, the room is yours until check-out time the following day. If you are planning a tight schedule in the future, we recommend arranging your flight to arrive earlier so you can comfortably check in by 2 PM, specially you are in the race that expecting you to have more rest Regarding check-out: We actually extended your check-out time by one hour FREE OF CHARGE . We understand that the marathon typically finishes around 10 AM, which still gave you time to return, freshen up, and enjoy the Bali United venue before leaving. Please also consider that our team needs 2–3 hours to clean and prepare the room for the next guest. This is a standard hospitality practice worldwide, and many hotels even start check-in at 3 PM — so we believe our 2 PM check-in is quite reasonable. Regarding the house rules and communication: You agreed to our villa regulations upon booking and also received a copy of the house rules via WhatsApp, as well as communication through chat. Since both you and our staff speak the same language, we’re unsure why none of these concerns were brought up to us directly during your stay. It would have allowed us to help you immediately. So it is a bit weird to raise it after all, you've said thank you message and happy face, given to us Lastly, while we accept all guest feedback, we were surprised by the low rating, especially since you gave our staff service a score of 10.
