Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFor light sleepers, it would be great to have a blackout curtain on the top bedroom window.
We felt instantly at home upon our arrival. The hotel is extremely peaceful with a chilled out seating area with beautiful views overlooking rice fields and Mount Rinjani. The hosts were very welcoming and were prepared to accommodate any needs to make our stay better. The staff were also great - +1 to the smiley waiter :) Highly recommend the full day walking tour of the rice fields, nearby waterfall and monkey forest - the local guide was excellent too. Great included breakfast with homemade bread. The restaurant prices were also reasonable meaning we were happy staying in for dinner. The bedroom was very modern, spacious and comfortable.

United Arab EmiratesNothing. Top notch job done by owners Thomas and Katie and their staff.
A little slice of heaven. Travelling as a family of 3, there couldn't have been a better place to start our time in Lombok. The facilities are amazing, the views of the rice terraces can't be beat and the staff are incredibly welcoming. This is all before mentioning the 3 dogs that occupy the grounds and provide such a great sense of "home" while staying there. Food is amazing, rooms are incredibly well kept and honestly it's all good, start to finish.

TurkeyThe only downside is there is a lot of noise from the mosque nearby, starting at 4 am in the morning, and some noise from the street. The positive sides definitely outweigh this though.
Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Les Rizieres. The place is lovely and the town is nice too. Very fresh and tasty breakfast served on the gorgeous terrace overlooking the rice fields. Dinners were some of the best we've had in Indonesia! Can recommend the activities on offer too. Rented a bike, in good condition, and went for a cycle in the lush green surroundings. Took the rice fields walk which was interesting and beautiful.

we stayed in the king room that overlooked the paddy fields. it was spacious and well set out there is a fan so it kept you cool at night. night time temperatures were about 18 degrees which was good though we didn’t leave the windows open so it was warmer inside. the communal dining area and Lounge outside were lovely. breakfast was great using fruit from the garden. lovely staff so friendly.

United StatesEverything about this place was outstanding. The common area & yoga room overlooking the rice paddies and volcano, the staff, the rooms, the food, bathrooms, it was all the most incredible value that we’ve had traveling 6 months through Southeast Asia. I can’t say enough good things about Les Rizieres. Again I will state that the food was seriously amazing.

United StatesNothing that stands out.
One of the best places we’ve stayed in Indonesia. Extremely helpful staff, great service, and awesome value for your money. The views of the rice fields and volcano from the upstairs room and upper restaurant are fantastic. You need to eat your meals there - the food is amazing. Everything is fresh and cooked with ingredients from nearby. Many family recipes used, such as the incredible seafood curry and passion fruit jam. Tours can be arranged from the property. We did a 9-4 rice field and monkey forest walking tour which we loved because the guide really knew a lot and the restaurant they took us to was one of the best I’ve been to in Indonesia, as far as local Indonesian food goes.

Les Rizieres is a hidden gem in Tetebatu. Luxuriant garden, rooms are super clean, comfortable and well maintained. I extended my stay to the superior room, which is charming , huge room and terrace with a nice garden view. The view of the volcano from the first floor restaurant is stunning ! (don't miss it) Super relaxing and chill area. Every meal I have there were so great. Probably the best restaurant in the area. The fish was a delight! And great attention from the team and the owners. I fell so well there that I could have stay a week if I have time
