I stayed in a bamboo house and, although at first the thought of sleeping “outdoors” felt a bit scary, everything was perfectly safe and comfortable. The experience was truly magnificent, with a unique charm you can’t find elsewhere. The staff were very friendly and always helpful, and the food was excellent. The place also offers plenty of facilities, so there’s no need to worry – it actually feels like a small resort, with several bamboo houses and a restaurant in the middle, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. An authentic and memorable experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!

The location is far from the center, the weather is mostly rainy at the area as we were informed by the staff, so it would be nice if they had more amenities there such as a restaurant (which was close when we were there) or a spa area, or even a gym place.

Some things to be improved significantly, the food was not very good according to the value of property. The projector inside should have speakers attached, you can hardly listen anything. Otherwise the experience of living in open house was great.

- Better not to count on breakfast and food in the local restaurant- the food is basic and overpriced - there is a construction going right in front of the villa and sometimes natural sounds will be disturbed with construction noise - without a car or bike nothing really to do around

We couldn’t find anything to fault about this property! It was amazing.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It had amazing views, incredible scenery and exceptional staff that went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay! The food was delicious and room service great! The staff were so helpful organising activities and transport for us and we want to thank our driver for going above and beyond to give us a tour of the amazing places Bali has to offer and then dropping us off at the Airport afterwards. Our favourite parts were spending time in the pool, relaxing on the net bed and even using our outdoor shower among the plants and bamboo. The Makerti Bamboo House exceeded expectations and we hope to stay here again on our next visit to Bali! Thank you to all the staff that made our stay great!

Unbelievable Experience at Bamboo House, Makerti Bali Staying at the Bamboo House was an unbelievable experience. Nestled in nature, it offers a perfect blend of tranquility and comfort. My stay was spectacular! This was my one night splurge of my trip, and it was worth it! Stunning facility, beautiful view, incredibly helpful staff. They even went to find ibuprofen for me when I showed up having just gotten hurt while hiking. The food was great, there was a ton of drinking water provided (both refrigerated and room temperature), and arranging meals was easy. I wish I had been able to stay longer!

It could be more cleaner in the upper area. Under the bed and behind it there was a lot of dust. I know this is an open house, but they said that we have to wait a bit because it needs extra cleaning because of the wind and when I entered and looked under the bed there was dirty, for sure no vacuum cleaner was used before. The restaurant prices are big. On the second day, we received the omelette with hair inside. I expected to receive something on the house from them to apologise for this, but no, they just gave us another one. For the cappuccino I was supposed to pay, it was not included in the breakfast menu.

If you are the kind of person who likes to stay in a quiet place far from city and be surrounded by the nature noises this place is for you. Is a quiet place in a jungle, very pleasant and relaxing environment. We’ve been there for my 30th birthday’s anniversary and it was something special. Very clean and nice looking house. Very beautiful natural two storey bamboo house. Water pressure is very good. Stunning view from the windows when you have a bath in the bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen, very convenient to use. Two toilets at different floors that people live up stairs don't have to go downstairs to use toilet. Stunning view of the field. Not the best angle for rice field, but good enough to enjoy at the second level. The garden and the swimming pool design is so beautiful with beautiful lights. We found frogs, geckos and fire flies at night. Cute creatures! Very supportive staff providing good service.

This was a perfect 10/10 stay for our family. We were there for two back to back nights. Everything from staff, to the onsite restaurant food, to shower pressure, and even wifi speed was just great. They also arranged for photoshoot and tours for us, and were available on whatsapp with quick responses to help us plan everything.
