For the price point, I cannot fault this room. It's in a location that's walking distance to the buzz of Kuta, and it provided exactly what I expected. A bed, shower and toilet which allowed me to get comfortable while I was there

It was a very basic accommodation but perfect for a short stay and very close to the harbour which was what I needed. It was very quiet at night time. The staff were very nice and friendly. The homestay is close to warungs, supermarkets and restaurants.

The place around is not the best in Kuta. The restaurants don’t look clean and you have to go through some dark and dirty streets if you want to go to the beach or nicer places

We were able to check in late despite arriving after check in closed. The owner and his family were lovely and always asked about our day. Room was nice with very good Aircon.

The only downside was that the room was a bit minimal in terms of furniture and amenities — just the basics.

The place was very clean, which I really appreciated. The host was incredibly nice and welcoming, always ready to help. The location is excellent — close to shops, supermarkets, and just about 20 minutes from the beach. Best of all, it's not on a noisy main street, so it's peaceful at night. The room had a hot shower and good air conditioning, which made the stay comfortable.

Very good location, pretty close to the airport (within 10 mins by taxi). About a 10-15 min walk to the main area with restaurants. Very clean room, amazing deal for the price you pay.

Not so easy to find. Nowhere for taxi to park as on a very narrow road. Our neighbours were so loud coughing and spitting, so no luck with neighbours.

The pool was next to our room door so was great to dip in to refresh. It's only 2.5x2 meters but good and clean. Good to stay for couple nights. Very close to busy and very touristic Kuta street which you can access by narrow roads.

There was nothing to dislike.

We had a wonderful stay at Pondok Mirah. The hosts were very friendly, kind and helpful and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower was great with constant hot water and the location was very quiet and peaceful. There is also a little patio area to sit outside the room and drinking water is provided. Excellent value for money we would not hesitate to recommend Pondok Mirah. Thanks so much for looking after us very best wishes Sarah & Martin

The accommodation is accessible to everything. The restaurant outside the area is perfect. Place was safe, just abit busy street. The owner lends us adaptor. Very helpful!

- only one towel in the room - in the bathroom above the window there is a gap without fly protection, which allows mosquitoes to come in (please do not save on mosquito protection!) - no shower head for the hand - soap was not so good - please provide a proper blanket

- only 180.000 IDR / 10.70€ / day!!! - free drinking water for refilling - air conditioning - comfortable bed - Terrace mega relaxed - pool is good - Owner/manager mega nice and relaxed - I could extend flexible several times - clean - very quiet and not much noise from the street - location good
