Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThere is a high step to overcome when entering the toilet for our room. Not recommended for those in wheelchair.

AustraliaIf we were going to critique anything then perhaps the breakfast could be a bit better, but really, this is just nitpicking.
We had a fantastic stay at Rinjani Lodge. The views/location is exceptional, the family room (essentially two bedrooms) was perfect for the three of us and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Great location to walk to the waterfalls. Enough nice local restaurants and massage places nearby if that’s your thing.

United KingdomLack of sunloungers when I arrived as all were taken
I booked last minute as my accommodation had had a power cut earlier and the air con wasn’t working properly and made staying very difficult I was only able to book a family room but it was stunning, pools were beautiful and the surrounding garden areas were stunning The welcome drink and cold towel were just what I needed, staff were polite, friendly and responsive to requests

United KingdomThere are no sun loungers around the large pool (next to the restaurant), so all of the guests use the smaller pool by the bedrooms. This caused some overcrowding at times. The biggest issue at the hotel is the restaurant: the food is good but the service is incredibly slow. On our first evening, we ordered main courses about 8pm but they were not served until about 9pm; we were then told that we were too late to order dessert (at the same time, a member of staff was eating ice-cream at another table!). We ate out at nearby restaurants every other evening.
Dramatic settling, built into the side of a deep valley, with great views of Mt Rijani. The two cliff-edge infinity pools are a memorable swimming experience! The room was immaculately clean with great AC, lots of storage, a comfortable bed, and a luxurious, semi-outdoors bathroom. The grounds are lush and well-mantained. The staff are friendly and helpful, sorting out a couple of issues that we had quickly and effectively. There is also a good-value laundry service.

New ZealandThe breakfast was very limited really, for the price. The pancakes were inedible glue-like things that there was no other sweet option for, like muesli and fruit. The toast was barely heated. Disappointing.
The pools were great. The view was to die for. The receptionists were amazingly helpful.

AustraliaWhen we went to dinner and there was a backpacker with no shirt on laying down over the dining chairs. It was busy and tables were limited and he occupied an entire table to himself. We were respectfully dressed and his bare feet close to the back of my dining chair. If you dine at the restaurant and you are allowed to use the pool THEN at least be a little more considerate of the FULL PAYING clientele. Personally, I didn’t like that , plus they still wandered down into the guest area anyway not factoring in that they are not supposed to. I saw this happen on numerous occasions.
The room was magnificent, bed was huge, bathroom was just gorgeous- could not fault ANYTHING. Evening meal and Breakfast was amazing. And finally the views are complete out of this world.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are lovely with so many beautiful flowers and plants, amazing views of the volcano and lovely infinity pool. We did the half day panorama walk with guide Karni, who was so knowledgable about the local area and even took us to see her parents home. The waterfalls were spectacular and so interesting to hear about village life and all the amazing crops that grow in the area. The food at the hotel is very good and there are also good warungs and bar nearby. Very relaxing place, with lovely, friendly staff

AustraliaThe furniture/styling in the villas is a little dated, but the garden, view & pools made up for it.
Set in stunning surrounds with views of Rinjani and walking distance to the waterfalls. The villas are comfortable with lovely verandahs overlooking the pools, gardens & views. The staff, food and service were fabulous.

The staff and their friendliness is passing all limits. The view from the balcony is fantastic as well as the surroundings. This is a place I will recommend to any of my friends as long as they are known of travelling in Indonesia and what to expect.

AustraliaLoved hanging out in the infinity pool, amazing views of the mountain, the valley and the rice fields. Very comfortable beds. Must go on a panorama tour with the Rinjani Women Adventure Group - outstanding experience hearing about the local culture, seeing the plants in the village garden, experiencing the traditional village and walking to the waterfalls.

United KingdomBreakfast selection was a little limited and could get a little crowded by the pools. More seating outside on the platforms would have been nice for drinks too.
