Not very clean toilet. Missed the hostel vibe since I was alone. Felt a bit unsafe in the area at night, since i had to head to the convenience store because the hostel did not offer any drinking water.

It's not a social hostel. Especially there's not much to do in the city itself. But still a very good & comfortable lodging

- The neighborhood quiets down after 7 pm - Might not be ideal for solo travelers given its self-service setup, which could result in being alone in the building. Luckily, there were other guests during my stay, so I didn't end up alone. - The front of the hostel is entirely covered by glass. I suggest placing a blurred sticker on some parts of the glass for added privacy and safety. - A fan in the common area would be a great addition. - One of the showers needs a repair.

Comfy beds, clean bathrooms & toilets, clean towel, modern/minimalist vibe. They provide electric kettle, basic cutlery & plates, and a fridge stocked with cold beers and water bottles. Convenience store is just a 5-mins walk. Great for groups or those who prefer a quiet environment for a good night's sleep.

There are some empty spaces in the hostel that could be used in a much nicer way, I was expecting somewhere to sit down, have maybe a coffee or just a common room in general. The hostel is small which is nice but I think there's room for improvement. I had received a very informative message on WhatsApp before checking in but once we got there the staff member was not very helpful. The bathrooms were not cleaned, although I think we were the only guests that day, so not much traffic. There were no lockers in the room where you could put your valuables or just your stuff in general.

Initially I liked the look of the hostel but judging by the pictures I was expecting a bit more. The pods/beds were nice and there was a shower with hot water.

I didn’t realize it is a self check-in hostel, which should have been more clear on Booking.com. Ended up waiting for a while by the door, as I couldn’t get hold of the owner. However when I got in contact with them they were very fast to help me in. This could easily be avoided if guests are send the PIN prior to arrival with a message via booking.com.

Very friendly staff, who helps you answer any travel questions. I even had breakfast with a girl staying at the hostel helping the owner out - very nice! Only stayed one night, but was the only one there besides her - so very quiet (Medan is not a tourist city).

This hostel deserves more visibility. Almost every equipment for a good hostel is in there. Good mattress, curtains for privacy, lockers, bed lamp, towel, soap and shampoo, in a very nice architectural building! Only people are missing for a perfect vibe. Since there is only few people coming (I was alone during my stay), I can understand that the cleaning is not done everyday and toilet paper is missing, but I am sure this service was good when it was busy.

Nice place, little sleeping compartments with lockable boxes. Strong water + hot shower. Clean. Big fridge. Hot water boiler. We were 2 people sharing the big 10 bed room. Many food stalls, ATM ( main road 2 junctions north ), shops around. Just opposite is a nice lady selling all kind of fruits.

Self check in is horrible. The password to WiFi, which is on the door, is old. I read here comments that self check in is not working so I wrote to host before, but he answered 15 hours later when I didn't have a WiFi. Second thing is that I asked for taxi on airport and get back information that is not possible. I was begging host for help because I stayed in a strange city without any taxi 6 am on airport, not working taxi app ( for grab was to early, blue bird not working on my phone) and not possible to do phone call. Host reject to help me.. finally I order Gojek but situation was very stressful.

Clean, modern hostel. Bed are very comfortable with curtain and bottle of water. During my visit was only 4 people in hostel so was calm.

The slogan 'More than just a bed for the night' is written on the door but it actually is precisely that. In our two-day stay we haven't seen any staff. The hostel has a self check-in process but this wasn't communicated to us. As a result we faced a closed door since we were travelling without an Indonesian SIM-card and couldn't contact the staff. There is a WiFi-network and password on the door but this network doesn't exist. Therefore, we were lucky there was another person in the hostel that could open the door for us, otherwise it would have been a great challenge to get into the hostel. Dorms, beds and showers are good but the rest of the hostel is completely empty and therefore there is zero atmosphere. A good bed for one night in Medan if there was staff or a decent message (for example via Booking) about the process of checking in.

There was a faint smell of mould in the room, but everything else was great!

Really comfortable beds. Felt very safe with the pin coded doors. Really nice place and a good place to relax or get work done. Accessible kitchen as well. Would recommend!
