One small downside: the WiFi in Room 8 didn’t really work. Also, keep in mind that Malang itself doesn’t have many touristic attractions apart from the excursions, so the guesthouse is best as a base for trips.

Snooze Malang The staff here are fantastic—attentive, charismatic, and always ready to help or have a chat. They genuinely care about their guests, which makes the stay feel very welcoming. Overall, for the quality and price, Snooze Malang is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Snooze Hostel was an exceptional place to stay—clean, comfortable, and impressively well-maintained. The facilities were top-notch for a hostel, with a fully equipped kitchen, cozy common areas, and spotless bathrooms. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks in large part to the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure guests felt at home. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-run place to stay.

The room we had (right at the end of the lobby) is not that easy to darken. Unfortunately, it remains relatively bright during the night because the lobby is in front of the large glass wall from the room.

The highlight was the extremely friendly staff, who gave us a very warm welcome. We also really liked the many different common areas. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, but would definitely stay longer next time.

There could be breakfast even though you can use the kitchen and there is always coffee, tea and water!

Everything was perfect, super clean, very helpful and kind staff, they helped with everything, made me feel very comfortable, gave me good tips, organized a trip to tumpac sewu, did laundry. The shared dorm is very quiet, the lockers are big and it looks like you have your own little room as you can even stand! The bathroom always clean. The best hostel I have ever been to.

The staff were some of the kindest people I've ever interacted with. The pods had beds with bedframes (instead of just a mattress on the floor). The pods also were tall enough to stand up in (as a fairly tall man) and had plenty of space. Excellent experience highly recommend.

It’s such a great place and the staff is very friendly. Everything is clean and the rooms offer enough space and privacy to every traveler. It is kind of a capsule concept with a real bed and not only a mattress. Furthermore, the tours are amazing and have a very reasonable price!

A real gem in Malang. The hostel is in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance to the shopping street. There is plenty of space to hang out and chill and the room was spacious.

The accommodation was great! The room and bathrooms were very clean. Everyone at the reception was very kind, and we even got iced tea as a welcome drink. When I communicated with the hostel beforehand, they recommended companies that arrange transport from the airport to Malang, and I’m very thankful for that.
