They were doing construction quite literally right outside our door every day. I don’t know if they were renovating or adding to the property but I felt it was a bit dishonest they didn’t mention this at all. I would’ve probably gotten a different hotel. Construction right next to your room kinda beats the purpose of relaxing. They also didn’t have a do not disturb sign to put on the door so we got woken up each morning by housekeeping.

The hotel itself was nice. We enjoyed the pool, rhe location, and the staff. The restaurant that was right next to the hotel was delicious (though it’s not the hotel’s restaurant).

No elevator, so had to walk up an down two flights of stairs.

The pool was great, and the room was nice with a balcony and cheers to sit outside.

Needs some upgrading, more plug sockets, the only one for a hairdryer wasn’t near enough to the mirror. The bath really isn’t needed. Kettle took about 10 mins to boil. Needs a full length mirror.

Tied around the edges, old furniture and peeling, flaky walls, rather unloved. Very hard mattress that took some getting used to.

Well run little hotel, uber friendly staff, great location, lovely setting that made you feel you were part of a local temple complex. Lovely tropical gardens. Great breakfast across the road. Quiet. Great value for money.

The optional breakfast across the road at the Art Hotel, so much better elsewhere. Plastic is a big problem in Bali and it would be good to have water filling stations in the rooms or in the foyer. The floor tiles and those on the balcony are deadly when wet. Dry off before returning to your room and wear thongs.

Large room and balcony with a comfortable bed (a little firm as they all are), good bathroom, a lovely clean pool, beautiful traditional Balinese buildings and gardens in a great location. They don't offer food but there are plenty of options around. We preferred a simple muesli breakfast and appreciated the large fridge in our room.

I stayed here twice in 2 different rooms. Both were really good with plenty of space and nice bathrooms. The staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast is at the hotel across the road and was amazing. The pool is great and there is interesting architecture. Short walk to the beach. The little restaurant next door Hey Ni Hao is excellent. Lots of shopping around the corner. I would stay here again.

There was a broken power point in the bathroom that had tape over it. It made drying my hair with my blow dryer difficult

The grounds were beautiful. Although close to everything which was very convenient noise wasn't an issue. The staff were friendly. I was in a standard room on the ground floor and it was huge and very clean. The pool had plenty of sun lounges and the gardens were stunning

The bathroom, it has a tub with a hose type shower head with no wall fixture and a overhead shower in the middle of the bathroom with no kind of partition to block water from drenching the entire bathroom. I hated taking a shower. It could also use some additional outlets.

The location was very convenient. They partner with the hotel next door so if you like a nice large buffet breakfast it’s available. We really only met one staff member, she was from housekeeping and very sweet.
