The mosquitoes! Are everywhere but then again that's Nature

The ambience is magical! The floating breakfast awaiting by the pool was the best surprise and the staff service was outstanding I felt sincerely welcome something that I wish we had in Europe! I was looking for an upscale accommodation near Rinjani mountain and was soo glad to discover Svarga the only 5 star luxury resort near Rinjani mountain , although its still under construction and only several villas are available but that made it even more a sanctuary of peace and relaxation.

There were cockroaches and giant mantises in the bedroom. Ants were everywhere. Rats were roaming around the pool, and the pool itself had dirty water. The pool stairs were contaminated and slippery, and I ended up slipping and injuring my thigh. My wife also slipped and fell into the pool. The hotel's online photos were aerial shots, but in reality, the hotel was either under construction or had abandoned construction, making the surroundings feel eerie. The entrance looked like a ruin, making it difficult to find, and there was no one around. I tried calling multiple times to get directions, but no one answered. The Wi-Fi was broken. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The electricity in the powder room didn’t work. There were barely any proper utensils, and not even a single complimentary bottle of water. I was informed on the second day after check-in that credit cards were not accepted, and only cash was required. I was pressured for about three hours to make a cash payment. Even though the hotel was in the mountains, I was forced to drive late at night to a distant town to withdraw cash. In the end, I had to add my home currency to make up for the insufficient amount. There were no restaurants open late nearby, and the area felt completely deserted. The included breakfast was terrible. The pancakes barely resembled their name, and the toast was cold. While the restaurant itself was surprisingly beautiful and refreshing, the food was disappointing. I had planned to stay in a quiet, stunning retreat in the mountains of Lombok near Mount Rinjani, paying 5 to 10 times more than other accommodations in the area. However, my nights were filled with the sound of mosque prayers, and I woke up at 5 AM to the same sounds. I usually don’t write reviews, but I am sharing my experience so that others are aware. I brought up all these issues with the staff, and while they were kind and apologetic, nothing was resolved.

Nice and cozy dining area. Beautiful.
