Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe booked two rooms and one had the nicer shower that was advertised, but one had a shower that was not as nice and smelled a bit damp. Wasn’t really much of an issue. Also not a bad issue but the pool was quite warm so it didn’t cool us down, was like getting into a bath!! Again, nothing bad and would still recommend.
Lovely surroundings and well kept garden!

FinlandOld and smelly. But it's good enough just for sleeping. Closest market was a bit far (and road is pitch dark).
Pool area was nice. Great location to explore beaches in Uluwatu area. Private entrance (bungalows are shared into 2). Can't find many similar places for similar budgets from Uluwatu.

Quiet property, only approximately 12 rooms. Nice pool and sunbathing area. Close to most beaches. Everywhere accessible via bike, rented by property. Comfy and clean room. Air con worked well

AustraliaGreat value for money, perfect spot to base yourself in Bingin. Had a few of us who booked separate rooms and it worked well, spending time together around the pool and in the garden.

AustraliaDecent homestay in a good location in Bingin. Can walk to the beach and restaurants/cafes etc. We stayed here for almost a month and was much more cost effective than getting a villa. Note that the property and rooms are a little older, but cannot complain at all as it’s great value for money. Staff always super friendly. We enjoyed spending time around the pool and garden which was always clean and well maintained.

United KingdomThe bathroom wasn't great, there was a lizard that lived there and so we had lizard droppings in the bathroom. There is a green plastic ceiling which is dark and exposed allowing ants and crawlies in. There was also weird rust growing around the toilet. The sink tap also didn't work properly. The room felt basic and like it needed freshening up and maintenance, could be cleaner. The dogs that sit at the front of the property aren't very friendly at night, they were intimidating barking at us and blocking the entrance of the gate which is dangerous when on a scooter. Staff could be more friendly and attentive. No laundry service. WiFi didn't work. No fridge.
Good location in Uluwatu around ten mins drive to various beaches and bars, restaurants and shops. The bungalows are set in a nice peaceful green area with a lovely pool which is a good size and relaxing. The rooms are spacious and basic with good air con and comfy bed. There is a nice terrace area overlooking the pool. The place is quiet and chilled.

United KingdomThey could sort the shade around the pool, they clearly didn't think about the aspect at all. Rooms basic. Breakfast very poor. No drinking water. No kitchen to use. Fridge was slightly warm. Not a social vibe at all
The pool area was good in the main part, clean and nice to hang out.

Czech RepublicNo option to fill in drinkable water. I found quite a lot of ants in my shower. The location is 10 mins by bike to center, but not so much walking distance, you can walk to the nearest beach. Payment only by cash.
The pool in the hotel was very nice and clean, you can also lay around in the sun bed. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfy, also it has AC which is very nice. There is a hot water.

United KingdomReception was closed quite often, making the staff hard to find.
The grounds of the accommodation are lovely and secure, the pool area was nice too. The room itself was clean and a good size, location was also good with the Cashew Tree and Bingin Beach being 5-10 min walk away

NetherlandsAlthough we really enjoyed our stay at Telaga Sari Bingin, there is a lot that they can improve. The reception is usually closed or empty, so it is not easy to find information or help about things. Also, the staff is super friendly and nice, but it is not easy to communicate with them in English. we were never informed about anything like breakfast’s system or times, the cleaning service (you have to ask them if you want your room yo be cleaned up), the pool schedule, etc. And there was also no instructions or rules in the room. The bed only has a sheet so we were actually a bit cold at night, a blanket would have been nice. The shower head needs changing and there is no place to leave your things in the bathroom. Also, the bathrooms are connected through the ceiling so you can hear everything that happens in your neighbors’ toilet and viceversa. None of these things was a major issue for us, but it is good to know. Finally, the bed was very squeaky and the mattress is not the best, but we still had good sleep :)
The place in general is very cool. We loved it at first sight. The bungalows are very nice and the pool es amazing, a lot better than we expected. We actually hang out in the pool every day before going out for the sunset. The rooms are very simple but clean and nice, the AC worked very well, there is hot water and the bathroom is very big. We also had no mosquitos or bug issues of any kind. There is also a terrace outside every room that is great to have breakfast or a drink at night, with a great view. The location is great, with many restaurants and stores close by. We walked to Bingin Beach and Dreamland Beach in like 10-15 minutes. We even walked to Padang Padang Beach, but that took like 30 minutes. I still would advice everyone to rent scooters, because they are very cheap (around 6 euros per day) and the roads are a bit chaotic and of course there is no sidewalk. But we walked everywhere the first two days and it was also fine.
