Kitchen is basic and has few utensils.

Old lovely house with comfortable and clean rooms. Owner was waiting for our arrival and very responsive to any questions.

One of the bathrooms had smell from the sewage. Train station is only 5 minutes away, but as it is the back side, you have to walk another 10 minutes to reach the entrance .

An old house with character and charm. 5 bedrooms each with separate bathrooms and spacious living room was great for friends traveling together. Kitchen was basic but useful for a long stay. Owner was kind and very quick to respond to any requests.

Highly recommend. This is a beautiful old property with lots of character and features. Loads of space! And it was spotlessly clean. Bathrooms were good, with hot water. We didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that, but we were very appreciative for the huge drinking water barrel left for us. Awuldin who looks after the house was very helpful and lovely. He answered all my texts swiftly and was there to greet us on arrival. It was a lovely welcome quite late at night, as he had the property already open with lights on and showed us around. He was always on hand to help with requests. We would like to thank him again for looking after us so well. As others have mentioned the house is set back from the road down a short alley way but the house itself is well lit. It’s in a good location to get to all the sights and we easily got Grab cars via the app when needed. Only thing I would add to the house is a secure safe for passports / belongings etc. We had a great stay, thank you!

    Everything was perfect!

We were a little bit sceptical at first because there is only one review. But we highly recommend this stay. The house is around 100 years old, but it is truly beautiful. There are 5 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and toilet. There is a terrace and a living room with a tv. There is also a kitchen with some utilities for cooking. There is a 20L container of water for the guests. All in all the house was beautiful and the host was super friendly. The location was also perfect, 5 minutes away from the trainstation and Malioboro street. There is also a supermarket and a laundry service (recommended by the host) within 20 meters of the house. Wifi was the best we have had in Indonesia.

Nice stay, with caveats. House was extremely kind and helpful.

Need more lighting. Also the sidewalk in front of the main door is extremely slippery, like ice when it's damp. That needs to be fixed. Also property a bit hard to find. Need a bigger sign so it's easier to spot. Bathrooms could be cleaner also and drainage improved. Beds for not very comfortable and all rooms were hot..

Host was extremely kind and helpful. A beautiful property that has been in his family for 100 years.

Not much really, needed a couple of light bulbs replacing but that was about it!

Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, lots of space, great showers and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Located near Malioboro Street (easy walking distance). Great place to explore Yogyakarta from!
