Relaxing spot away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Great service from staff.

The kayon is usually a little slice of peace and quiet away from the craziness of central Ubud and this is why we wanted to return. Unfortunately they are currently doing some major construction at the hotel which we were only informed of when we arrived and the noise did impact our stay and took away from some of the experience we were hoping for.

This was our second stay at the Kayon Resort and we are glad we decided to return. The staff and service were great, nothing was too much trouble. They were also able to easily accommodate my husband’s gluten intolerance at breakfast and the times we had dinner there.

Nothing about the stuff, but due to the location of the hotel and the humidity and forest around, the room was a little bit smelly , but nothing related to the cleanliness, they are very clean!

The stuff are incredibly nice and hospitable, the hotel view inside the forest is amazing, calming, and beautiful. They are cleaning the room almost twice a day to keep everything clean and tidy, and also to keep away any bugs or mosquitoes

Colder pool in the villas, noy a bad thing but it can be chilly. The resort as well has no elevators so be prepared to climb some stairs.

The staff were fabulous, the resort was beautiful, and the food was great.

Appart from a great breakfast, the food isn't that great in the restaurant. My daughter had a carbonara which was full of herbs and my grilled fish platter the same. Coming from a Mediterranean country, bordering with ltaly and being half ltalian, we couldn't really eat it (there shouldn't be any in either).

The place is beautiful and staff is amazing. Everything well kept and clean and the staff very attentive. The shuttle to town runs every 2 hrs, you just need to let them know about an hour ahead. Great breakfast!

We liked the location, amazing views wherever you look, cleaning team was fantastic, no insects despite the fact that you are in the middle of the jungle, staff was amazing! Big thanks to the whole team, especially to Susila's team and for warm hospitality from Saiya and the manager Jim! We hope we will be back soon! Big reccomendation! 🥰

Too much stairs to walk.

Good selection of ala-carte breakfast. Staff are friendly. There is in-house motorcycle for renting. The paddy field walk gave me the opportunity to learn about Bali culture. The shuttle to Ubud City is helpful.

Some stairs to climb but you just have to take your time

If you want to get away from the crowds and have a peacefulif time on a high class but small resort then this the place is for you. Food was great and the staff were the best

Warmest of welcomes, hotel presented really nicely with flowers etc on steps. Felt in a secluded area but equally not far from Ubud. Great that they also provide a free shuttle.

There’s some building work as they extend the number of villas. Did not intrude on our stay-over though.

Fabulous jungle setting, exceptional staff and surprisingly good value. A perfect place to switch off. Regular shuttle to Ubud if you need to go out and about

This place is one of the best places I have ever experienced. From the moment I stepped in to when I checked out I was in heaven. My check-in was very late but the resort had a sandwich waiting for me and my suitcase in my room.I am A solo traveller, and normally I feel a little anxious/miss home but this place never gave me that feeling. My room had beautiful veiws, monkeys, a flowing river. Breakfast was exceptional and the service even more amazing. I did yoga every morning and had a lush massage every other day. The staff are so friendly attentive and the service is fast. The lychee martini was the real deal. Highly recommend this place. Yes it is a little far from central Ubud but the hotel Offer a shuttle service.

A heated private pool would have been nice. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Remote location, but still well connected with the center Ubud by the shuttle provided, this place is peaceful and you’ll definitely feel spoiled there. The staff is very friendly and kind. The restaurant is very good, too. As well as the SPA.
