How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Verified reviewSuper friendly and helpful staff, they went beyond to help us. Even the security guard was friendly. We forgot something at the hotel and they sent it to us in less than an hour. They also upgraded us when we arrived. Nice pool !

Verified reviewLocation was absolutely fantastic, right in the middle of a great, walkable area and close to both beach and a great range of shopping and eating. It really wasn't noisy in this location apart from one tiny little thing - our aircon! It was a bit weirdly noisy, but such a minor thing. Overall it was a great stay, the staff are superb and the whole hotel is next to new, so lovely and clean. Pool was also great (would be even better if it was non-smoking!). And it's worth reiterating that the staff really are delightful!

Verified reviewIn the heart of Legian, only moments from the beach is this 3 star hotel which could easily be a 5 star with it's fantastic staff and service. Very clean and cosy but not cramped. Staff speak English, and it is staffed 24/7. Super helpful and very active on Whatsapp. Bathrooms were also very clean and well stocked. Lots of nice little touches like free food and drinks inside our rooms as well; free Netflix and wifi; and more. The Pool bar looked very nice too. Fully air-conditioned. We stayed only one night but would definitely come back for more next time.
No mosquito repellent available in each room. (Not big deal, many convenience stores nearby)

Please put a table and chairs outside each room. There are not enough sun loungers which is fine given it is only a small pool. But it would be nice to be able to sit outside your room and enjoy the pool and the bar. Breakfast was average but not a problem as there are many places nearby to try.
