Perfect stay! If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The staff is very kind and helpful, and the place is clean — something that in Indonesia is not to be taken for granted! Daniele is a perfect host, helping you organize your stay in Gili Trawangan with his suggestions, the availability of services, and his warm and friendly welcome. Absolutely recommended!

To conveniently reach the resort from the ferry, you need to take a horse cart (150K IDR for 2 p. 2025).

It is a quiet, small resort in a dense, lush garden. The garden villas are traditionally build and closely set but with enough privacy. The is a small dipping pool and the NW beaches are close if you rent a bike. Owner Daniel is super helpful with everything.

Our room looked directly at reception so didn’t feel super private and it would have been nice to have a mosquito net as there were a lot.

Away from the busy beach areas, it was really lovely and quiet you could hear the birds and it was peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the hosts were very nice. The pool was nice and large too and chill to read a book next to.

Host is super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations. Highly recommend staying here its a 2 minute cycle to the beach or a 5/10 minute walk. Room was clean and superb.

Everything was excellent! Beautiful bungalows in lush garden, comfy beds, great pool, good location near sunset beach but tucked away, and amazing hosting and service! We were so well looked after by the hosts. They organised a doctor visit and transport and laundry and everything we needed. Highly recommend

The staff was very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The property was very well taken care of, very nice small villa. Everything was very clean, new sheets and towels every day. Bike rental was organized for us (outside company, bikes were working but not in a good condition) and laundry as well as snorkeling trip was organized for us with an outside company. We felt very comfortable.

Exquisite this balance that is present, a minimalist comfort, in my opinion perfect for a tropical island. But primordial is nature, and the colors present that surround these Joglo and the sounds of the animals, beautiful. Excellent location, it is not facing the sea, so the chaos and noises are not present, very quiet, but 5 minutes on foot and less with a bike, you are at the sea, turtle point. The hotel was located on the more quiet side of the island, perfect for relaxing! The owner, Daniele, had made the grounds absolutely breathtaking by planting so many beautiful flora and fauna 😍 Also he is super helpful and beyond kind. The room was cleaned on a daily basis and we also got fresh towels everyday 👌🏻

Everything was super. Just that with lush gardens, come also mosquitoes. However the rooms were mosquito free, but maybe a fan on the terrace would be a good addition.

Bungalows are very comfortable and private. They have their own character which places them apart from standard accommodation. Daniel is a treasure trove of information and recommended fabulous dining options and snorkeling company. No fridge in room but you can use large fridge in reception area so no issue. The gardens are beautiful. Highly recommend.

In the night, you can smell the smoke from the burning trash really strong. My friend had a really bad time with her ashma. It's nothing to do with the property but is a point that needs to be raised.

The place is amazing! You feel like you are in the middle of the jungle but comfortable and 5 min from the beach. Daniel is fantastic and will make you feel at home! I couldn’t recommend more

dusty road leading to the guesthouse, missing storage for clothes in the cottage. but this is only small things. everything else was perfect.

very friendly and helpful staff ready to help us. perfect and quiet position, only few hundred metres to the beach. beautiful cottage in vintage style, AC, tasty breakfast, comfy bed and refreshing pool big enough for swimming. They arranged the horse driver for us and possible to rent a paddle bikes.

Wish we could stay longer.

Staying here was absolutly amazing. Daniel and the crew did all and above. Daniel also arranged bike rent, snorkling trip and gave the best tips for restaurants on Gili T. Also really good spot to chill out and read books by the pool. Breakfast in front of each villa.. Privacy for each house is guaranted. If comming back to Gili T, definitly comming back to Villa Lighthouse.

This is one of the most magical places I’ve stayed. Daniel and his team make you feel so looked after. The main strip of the island is so busy now that staying at villa lighthouse on the quieter side was PERFECT. You can rent the bikes from the property and be on the main strip in 10 minutes then retreat back to the calm oasis once you are done. One of our favourite bits about the Gillis was cycling around everywhere. We were served a simple but delicious breakfast every morning on our balcony with the sounds of the birds and all the greenery around, it was so wonderful. I did not want to leave. I hope I will be back one day. ❤️
